There also seems to be some confusion as to the price quoted. If so, we again apologize. What the customer falied to say was that he called us stating he wanted the truck at the agreed upon figures but did not want to pick it up until we added some items to the truck. We told him that we needed a non-refundable $500 deposit to add the items. This was because the truck would be more difficult to sell with the adds.He agreed and gave us a deposit by credit card over the phone. We then added the items to the vehicle. When we called him two days later to let him know his truck was ready he said he didn't want it anymore. When he asked for a refund we reminded him that it was non-refundable. We did tell him that we would give him his deposit back once we sold the truck if we could get the money for the items he added from the new purchaser. We feel this was more than fair to the customer since it was a non-refundable deposit to begin with. On another note, the customer didn't go shopping at anotherDealership for a truck till a week later per his e-mails he sent me so he didn't have a better deal anywhere else at the time he changed his mind. One of his e-mails even stated he knew he was wrong but wanted a refund anyway. He will get a refund when we sell the truck and we get our money back for his adds.
