The first complimentary service on my Tucson was quick and efficient. Amber was great to work with. Getting through to the service department to set up the service was tricky. No one seemed to be available to answer the phone for 2 days, but when I did speak with someone, I was told to just bring it it. No appointment was necessary. Then, things got easy! I was surprised to hear, however, that the 3 years of complimentary maintenance that Hyundai proudly advertises, isn't as complete as it sounds. There will be many things that will be needed along the way that are not included. This wasn't fully explained at purchase. More

The salesman was wonderful giving us all the time we needed and answering all our questions. However, the service department was lacking. We had not driven 50 miles until we noticed a shimmy when appl needed and answering all our questions. However, the service department was lacking. We had not driven 50 miles until we noticed a shimmy when applying the breaks at speed. Now we’re faced with a $500 bill for new rotors and pads. We feel the defect should have been fixed before we drove the car off the lot. Lesson: when test driving a used car, take the car out where you can get to a high speed safely and test brakes. We moved out of state and cannot bring the car back to San Antonio. There is apparently no cooperation between Hyundai dealerships in different states. The vehicle in question is a 2022 with less than 31000 miles. Quite a disappointing experience for us….and expensive too. More
