Price Gouging at its worst! A 2022 Santa Cruz requires a $3,995 addendum fee! Oh, wait that paid for Nitro in the tires, wheel locks, tinted window (already in car) and car wash. Oh for those that ask, definition of Price Gouging - refers to when retailers and others take advantage of spikes in demand by charging exorbitant prices for necessities. Not sure if I received a bad vehicle or if there are more vehicles at this dealer with issues. The first week I had the vehicle the exterior driver door runners were falling off. Next I noticed the backseat vehicles at this dealer with issues. The first week I had the vehicle the exterior driver door runners were falling off. Next I noticed the backseat passenger, behind the driver seat door armrest leather bubbled up. (The leather was coming off the door) No one sat back there yet. My wife brought my vehicle to Red McCombs Superior where I purchased it after telling them about the door and siding. The guy took pictures but ordered the wrong door. So I had to wait another week additionally from the first order of the door. A couple weeks ago in August, I noticed my driver door is doing the same thing the backseat passenger door is doing which is the leather bubbling up. Not sure why this is happening and lacking quality because I have had Hyundai vehicles in the past and never had quality issues. (issues not fixed) Service department is slow. Made an appointment to have my car oil changed and a recall fixed at 1:30pm on 24 AUG 2021, waited for the car didn't get it until about 5:30pm and was told they couldn't do the recall that day because they didn't have a part. (recall still not fixed) The Hyundai Santa Fe brakes weird especially going on a decline, the Auto-Start stop is horrible and you have to turn it off manually every time you get in the car. I haven't been more disappointed in a vehicle, especially from Hyundai. For what I paid for this vehicle, I expected better quality. Wish I kept my massive 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE. More
OMG I want to give Kudos to Austin O'Rourke service advisor My car had a sensor that was going off and I explained I had purchased another to replace it. He immediately said please go return it and bring in your car ASAP. I did and it was an engine fail requesting a new engine. Thank God it was covered under my warranty. He sent me to customer care to try to arrange a rental. They were not of much help and told me they did not guarantee they would cover my rental fees. I was really upset and called Austin to tell him because Im a single parent and I need a car to take the kids to school pick up and work ect. I had my car payment plus an additional $400 for rental and it was just to much for me. He was so sweet and compassionate and caring he said come tomorrow I will have a car for you. I was so happy and thankful for his help. He is very professional but most of all very good at his job and his customer service skills are unbelievably wonderful. He should get a raise for how wonderful he is. More
David J Garcia from service has to be the most rudest person I came across! Before even looking at my car he was already telling me he can’t fix it and won’t fix it. That if he did he would get a tow tru person I came across! Before even looking at my car he was already telling me he can’t fix it and won’t fix it. That if he did he would get a tow truck ready for me. Mind you he hasn’t even looked at my car or did anything to see what the problem was. He made it seem like we were an inconvenience for him. He even went to the mechanics to tell them to refuse working on our car. I will never return to Red McCombs Superior Hyundai. More
If it were not for an arrogant and incompetent sales manager, I probably would have bough a car from them today. There were a couple of red flags that should have turned me away such as 1) I asked to be contacted by email, yet I received a phone call almost immediately (no biggie, but still) 2) I was told that the "new" car I wanted to see only had about 900 - 1000 miles. It ended up having 5,000 miles and smelled like smoke.......So of course, they were trying to get me to look at more expensive cars. That's fine. That's their job. But when it came time for the sales manager to present an offer, I had no choice but to walk out. I questioned why the website was offering an amount and then saying that there were additional discounts available. I acknowled with him that I wouldn't be eligible for all of the discounts, but I thought I would be eligible for one of them. He laughed and said, "you really thought you would get all that money off of a new car?". So I had to show him and explain to him how the website reads and then with a dumbfounded look on his face he says "oh, yeah, i guess so." The sales manager should have let the Sales associate do her job. He's terrible at his. I probably would have bought the car had it not been for him. More

Service department is terrible, dropped my car off in the morning and no one has updated me about my car. They haven’t even sent a diagnosis and it’s been over 3 hours. This week I went to a dealer to trade it in and found out it had an accident - in September of 2018. They told me, "We just got this Elantra in. It's brand new." Wrong. This was news to me since they they did not disclose the accident to me. Who would lease a damaged vehicle?! Now my trade-in value is suffering to the amount of $2,000-4,000. Every dealer I've gone to says the same thing, "We can only offer $x amount for your vehicle because it was in an accident." More
