I remember being with my Mom when she bought her 2013 Tucson off the showroom floor. She was so excited and proud. I remember when it went into the shop for engine wiring harness recall for a month; and Tucson off the showroom floor. She was so excited and proud. I remember when it went into the shop for engine wiring harness recall for a month; and how inconvenient and expensive it got having to resort to Uber for transportation while the part was back ordered and fixed. Long story short, even when we were losing faith, they make it worth the while and continue now with me. Thank you Mr. Bits, Amber, all the service guys, and one particular high energy service man who I won't forget and appreciate for trying to hype me up when I got my 2019 Tucson last month. I didn't show the same excitement because wasn't sure I was gonna get to drive away with it, but did. He reminded me of how my Mom would of been excited for me and felt her spirit within him. I apologize for not knowing his name, older gentleman, very friendly as they all are. I will find him and thank him personally. I look forward continuing to build my relationship with this family. No shuttle, loaner vehicle, or free ride was offered during my wait. No ETA for completion of vehicle maintenance given at time of drop off. Service desk and technician both had no clue why the car was during my wait. No ETA for completion of vehicle maintenance given at time of drop off. Service desk and technician both had no clue why the car was in for service despite 1. setting up an appointment over the phone and explaining the issue and 2. Hyundai had all necessary issues already recorded in the hyundai app. The dealership should not have to ask any questions. The car should automatically report any issues over the air. This should trigger a user friendly interface that allows fast scheduling of maintenance. The app should be able to automatically calculate estimated completion times. Just the fact that I even had to call for service is enough to prevent me from purchasing another hyundai. The fact that I had to tell anyone what was wrong with the car also disqualifies hyundai as a serious modern car manufacturer in my mind. I recommend researching more modern service procedures. Tesla's service department is so much better than hyundai, that the service experience alone will ensure my next car purchase is a Tesla and not a hyundai. Do your research. Be better. You're falling massively behind with your technology and it's glaringly obvious in your service department procedures. More
