Parts counter attendants are always sitting just out of view of the counter. Their work stations are blocked by a wall and they don't staff the counter. I've had experiences with a couple of service managers who oddly came off as self centered and cocky, which is a weird vibe to get from someone who is just supposed to be a service liaison.
