Found truck on website. Drove to dealership and purchased the truck based on dealership stating pre inspection was completed and vehicle was in running condition. Completed down payment and signed for the truck and was informed the truck had not been inspected, and upon inspection, the truck had more mechanical problems than the vehicle was worth. Was denied refund of deposit and forced into another vehicle 20k more than the original based on 4x4 and was I just had an pre purchase inspection completed and it's NOT 4x4 and it has a list of mechanical issues. This dealership charges the buyer for a tracking system (Ikon) that they install on all vehicles (new and used) as well as another $150 for nitrogen in the tires. All of this work is done prior to placing (Ikon) that they install on all vehicles (new and used) as well as another $150 for nitrogen in the tires. All of this work is done prior to placing the vehicle on the lot for sale “As Is”. Yet they charge the buyer AGAIN as well as charging the buyer for equipment they don’t want and did not approve of them installing. Of course the dealership response to me and others with the same complaint is for us to contact them. I think they have our information already. They certainly were able to cash our checks. I did contact them, they promised a refund (after a lengthy telephone battle) but didn’t follow through. This all looks like fraud! This is why car dealerships have bad reputations More
