I walked into Rhinelander GM on Friday, May 23rd, feeling cautiously hopeful. I already had a recommendation from a friend for who to ask for, I had done my homework ahead of time, and I even researched how cautiously hopeful. I was hoping for a smooth experience, but part of me still expected to be disappointed or told I’d need to settle. But then I met Scott, and he taught me to never settle for anything less than exactly what I wanted. He didn’t treat my wishlist like it was a hassle or unrealistic. He listened — and more importantly, he cared. Even though they didn’t have what I wanted on the lot, and it was the beginning of a holiday weekend, Scott didn’t rush me into settling. He assured me he would keep looking, and just four days later, he found exactly what I wanted from a dealership across the state. He kept me updated the entire time and never left me wondering what was going on. Instead of doubting things or bracing for disappointment, I was actually excited. I felt proud and happy by the time I drove off the lot. It wasn’t just because I had bought a car I really wanted — it was because I had been treated with respect, and that made all the difference. But what meant the most was how Scott followed through after the sale. He helped with window tinting, made sure everything was set up correctly, and checked in afterward just to make sure everything was good. That part isn’t required, and it’s probably not on any official checklist — but he did it because that’s the kind of person he is. With this purchase, service mattered more to me than price. I knew I could have walked away and gone somewhere else as soon as I was told they didn’t have what I was looking for and wouldn’t be getting it anytime soon (like the four other dealerships I visited). But Scott proved that amazing service and going above and beyond still exist. He made something that’s usually draining and impersonal feel thoughtful — even kind. And I’ve realized that’s pretty rare. I’ve already told people to ask for him by name, and now I 100% understand why I was told to do the same. So if you're thinking about a new vehicle, just make the trip. Go to Rhinelander GM and ask for Scott. I promise you won’t regret it. More
