Service was timely and excellent. After a short wait in the lounge, Marty told me my car was ready and he explained what had been checked and told me that the underside of the car was O.K. Charged me for a repair but did not repair My headlights seemed to be pointed too far down and therefore a safety concern. Brought it in (bought my Acadia at Dan Tobin) and they said they fixed My headlights seemed to be pointed too far down and therefore a safety concern. Brought it in (bought my Acadia at Dan Tobin) and they said they fixed it, charged me $250 and I went home - in daylight. When I next left for work in the dark, the headlights were exactly the same. Brought it back to have them actually repair it and after they had it for awhile they called to say their machines indicated the headlights were actually aimed a little higher than they should be. I left with my car feeling bewildered. I then took it it a local mechanic and explained the situation, left my car and by the end of the day the headlights were fixed. He said that they had been pointed as far down as they possibly could be, that they were now fixed, and for the half hour of work it would be $45. Remarkably, they were fixed and I can now see properly when I drive in the dark. The only reason I gave 1 star instead of 0 to Dan Tobin is that the person I worked with at the front desk of the service department was very nice, courteous, and seemed to want to help. Unfortunately it doesn’t change the fact that I was charged for a repair that never happened and left with a car that was unsafe to drive in the dark - twice. More

Reliable/Well qualified When I go into the Service Dep. at Dan Tobin I'm always checked in quickly and they give a realistic time for when the work will be done.
