Very BAD Experience!! My first time buying a car from Rick Case and I have bought many NEW Cars in my lifetime and this is the VERY FIRST TIME I have gone throguh somethng My first time buying a car from Rick Case and I have bought many NEW Cars in my lifetime and this is the VERY FIRST TIME I have gone throguh somethng like this!!! Bought the New Hyndai Sonata on Sept. 06 2015. I traded in my 2010 Nissan Altima which only had 14, 900 mi. reason for trading my car was I wanted all the safety features and loved the looks of the Sonata and knowing this would probably be my last car I would purchase in my lifetime. I was happy with the car no problem there! On Sept. 26th 2015 I received a letter from Rick Case telling me I was denied credit for my car!! WHAT?????? My car was sitting in my driveway fully paid for, what the heck was this.?? Upon trying to get someone from Rick Case to explain and answer the phone was unbelievable difficult. In the meantime I called ALL the credit companies and yes, Rick Case was notified and questioned about my credit. They told me to call Rick Case and have them remove this notification as it would lower my credit score, which I followed through on, and yes, it did lower my score by 15 points. Needless to say I was livid!!! My husband and I treasure our credit approvals and are proud of the fact they have always been super great so you can understand WHY I really got upset by this letter when I didn't even apply for credit!! Upon finally getting in touch with Rick Case I was told they were sorry it should have never happend and I wasn't the first customer with this same problem!! Now on to the recall I received From Corperate. The letter stated it would be a 45 min. work order. Made an appt. on the 28th of Dec. at 10:00 a.m. requested a shuttle, as for personal reasons I can't be home for very long. At 1:00 p.m. being very aggravated I kept asking where was the shuttle and why hadn't my car been moved or worked on?? The shuttle was out geting parts for cars and unavailable. I questioned what wa it taking so long for my car and was told it was a 3 1/2 hour job, then I asked why did I get a letter saying it was a 45 min. job and your saying it would take 3 1/2 hours??? No reason given to me!! I called my neighbor had her pick me up! Upon gettin a call at 4:45 p.m. telling me my car was ready. I looked at the work order and it stated the car was worked on for 1 hour, not 3 1/2 as stated by Kurt in service that it would take that long to fix it!! My feelings at this point are, that I don't want the car, as, I can NOT see myself EVER having to drive to Rick Case Hyundai and facing incompetent people handling service or completing a sale. The car itself is beautful and I love it, but the service and the experience has been a nightmare! So saying I was completly dissatisfied would be understated at that!! Sincerely Marlene N.
