Beware if you're expecting accountability or documentation from the service department. I brought my 2024 F150 to Riverside Ford twice because it wouldn't shut off. First time, the issue was una documentation from the service department. I brought my 2024 F150 to Riverside Ford twice because it wouldn't shut off. First time, the issue was unable to be duplicated and I had to escalate to management just to get a basic record of my complaint and the findings. Second time, the problem was happening in real time and the technician couldn't get the truck to shut off either. Later I was told it was escalated to ford tech services & they advised it was a portable speaker drawing amps and not an issue with my truck, but when I asked for the tech's findings or any communication with Ford engineering, there was nothing, no RO, no write-up, nothing tied to my VIN. I was actively in the shop with the technician when my truck was tore into trying to figure out why it wouldn't shut off, but yet no documentation at all related to my trucks vin # could be found for my second visit. I wasn't asking for a miracle or a simple fix, just accurate record keeping. Having to escalate matters for basic record keeping is unacceptable. More
