I was happy to find the vehicle I wanted on the Roc Carter CDJR website showing some significant dealer price reductions from MSRP. When I arrived my sales consultant, Sam Jones, was very nice and pro Carter CDJR website showing some significant dealer price reductions from MSRP. When I arrived my sales consultant, Sam Jones, was very nice and professional. He made sure the price we saw on the website was what we would be paying and even helped me get some additional incentives through a partnership with my employer. I took the vehicle for a test drive and was very pleased. Sam took our information and did the initial work to get us moved over to the finance department . When the finance paperwork was ready I met with Santiago Bernal to complete the contract work. He seemed very knowledgable and made the process seem very smooth so that I could complete the purchase process. In hind sight it was a little too smooth. He added on a vehicle service and extended warranty plan without asking me (over $8000) as well as setting up a payment schedule without my initial input. I was interested in the vehicle protection and easier payment schedule, but I didn't really appreciate Not being asked initially before putting it into my contract. The worst part of the whole process was that in my rush to finish the deal and get home, I missed that the purchase price on the contract was NOT what I had agreed upon with Mr. Jones. It was SEVERAL thousand dollars more! In my weeks of attempts to contact Mr. Bernal about the price. He has been repeatedly unavailable and only made on an attempt to call me back. I called and texted with Mr Jones about the matter. Emailed them both with no resolution. On top of all that, I seem to be missing critical information from the dealership about activating the account for the vehicle protection plan. I also, have not been able to resolve that. More
