A Fantastic Car-Buying Experience! I found out about Ron DuPratt Ford while searching for dealers in my area. I had never heard of this dealer before and proceeded to read the online re I found out about Ron DuPratt Ford while searching for dealers in my area. I had never heard of this dealer before and proceeded to read the online reviews. After reading the reviews and viewing their inventory, I decided to drive down and check it out. It was a busy Monday at the end of the 4th of July holiday weekend sale, so the sales staff were all working with customers. The fleet manager, Michael Youra, came out to assist me so that I wouldn't have to wait. I told Michael what I was looking for, and my desired intentions for my trade-in, down payment, and financing. He took me out to the lot and proceeded to give me a thorough demonstration of all the vehicle's features before letting me take it for a test-drive. I was impressed with the vehicle and decided I wanted to buy one. However, they did not have the exterior/interior color combination that I wanted paired with the engine and options that I wanted. Figuring I would have to settle for something not quite what I wanted or going elsewhere, Michael performed a search of nearby dealers and found an exact match to the vehicle that I wanted at a dealer in the Bay Area. He assured me that he could have it delivered by the next day and set up the transfer. He secured great financing for me (0%) and also gave me a great price on my trade-in. He was able to also get me some great rebates, so the deal I received was right on target with what I intended. We completed the paperwork and I left to await my vehicle to be delivered. I came back to pick it up and Michael gave me another thorough demonstration of the Sync system so that I was comfortable with its operation by the time I drove my new 2014 Fusion SE off of the lot. I could not have asked for a better experience. I never felt stressed or pressured. Michael went out of his way to help me, even though he usually assists fleet customers. I highly recommend this dealer. It's worth the drive to Dixon! More

With the exception of our interaction with the financial person, our experience was exceptional. He was also very off-putting when prior to the warranty and loan transactions, he offered to buy a the car we initially thought to trade in. When he expressed interest in the purchase, we told him that we'd already made an offer to another party to purchase the car. He said he'd buy it right them for 75% of what we'd offered the first party. We told him that we couldn't go behind the other party's back. His reaction really soured the experience with him. We recalled that with previous automobile purchases the hard sell warranty/maintenance agreements were also off-putting. That must be part of the process, but one we'd rather do without. Aside from that, the salesman and dealership are first rate. We've made many purchases from Ron DuPratt Ford over the years. Their service department is a pleasure to work with- very honest, skilled and accommodating. More

I am a first time buyer and I found the Dodge Nitro at Ron Dupratt. I called to make sure they still had it before i took the drive from Woodland. I spoke with Tim and he was so much help. Told me i could get pre-approved online before i came in to look at the car. When i did go into the dealership, Tim had the car ready to look at. What i liked more is that he let me look at the car for as long as i needed. He was in no rush as well as he didnt try to sell me any other car. I had a certain amount that i wanted to stay around for a car payment and they were able to get me a great deal which kept the car payment at the exact price that i wanted. I would recommend Tim and is staff to anyone looking for a new or used car! More

Our first contact at the dealership was Missy Ballance, and she was great at listening to our needs, and working to find us the cars they had in stock that fit into our needs. We left the dealership feeling very comfortable - more than can be said for several other dealerships in the area. After test driving every similar car of other makes available at other dealerships and taking time to save up a sizable down-payment, we returned to DuPratt Ford. Missy was busy with other customers when we arrived, but Tim Dunahay picked up where we left off with Missy. Tim was very low key and, most importantly, honest with us. We never felt like he was saying anything unreasonable or being even the slightest bit pushy. He was honest about many of the packages and options they had, even pointing out those he felt were not great fits for us. When we needed some time to weigh the options, he gave us some time and space. In the end, we walked away with our first new car (a Fiesta) at a fair price and with very good financing with minimal hassle. More

I found my car looking on internet after an awful experience at Toyota. This was a wonderful experience for us. We live in San Diego and had to make a 10-11hour trip by train in order to purchase and pick up the vehicle we wanted. We were greeted by a representative at the Davis train station, James sent him there to pick us up and take us to the dealership. I appreciate that greeting as we initially were going to catch a cab. We had been looking for a Ford Taurus X AWD hopefully Eddie Bauer Edition. And we finally found it with very low miles under 20,000 for a 2008! I initially wasn't going to call because the asking price was a bit high but after considering the low miles I called and spoke with Paul. I wanted to know if this was a 7 seater? Paul said he would go check as he didn't know and he would call me back. I then got a call back from James letting me know the details of the car and he gave me their website so I could look at the car. He said Paul had been helping some clients and wouldn't be done for a couple hours so he didn't want to keep me waiting on the vehicle details. James was very professional and helpful in getting me that car. I then gave the information to my husband Marc and told James he and Marc can work out the financial details. James gave us a deal we couldn't resist. And he worked with our credit union. Today I have my Ford Certified vehicle and I am extremely happy with it.
