They have taken an advantage of the early lease return-exchange. I leased a vehicle in NJ, but I live in Pennsylvania. They took taxes from in order to pay for lease tax. Dealership took the negoti return-exchange. I leased a vehicle in NJ, but I live in Pennsylvania. They took taxes from in order to pay for lease tax. Dealership took the negotiated price, reduced it to a lower amount added tax and basically the amount which I paid them went into their pockets! When I called to ask questions they already had answers ready, but you agreed to $2500 down payment (No I agreed to paying taxes fees and all the necessary costs, not to put extra $1000 in dealers already thick pockets). Here is the example of what they did: Nagotiated lease monthly price: $280 and they raised me to $280.89 (knowing I would not say no for $0.89) Reduced the monthly payment to $260+ added Pennsylvania tax = which was rounded up to $280.89 ! Where did the payment for tax go???? See what they didn't realize was that it all showed up on my monthly bill.... Now the finance manager told me he was going to call me back.... He never did ! ! ! I am going to fight this unless I get my money back ! ! ! DT P.S And don't get me started about the entire lease negotiation time 7+ hours ! ! ! (AND THEY ASK YOU TO GIVE THEM 10 STAR RATING, DO NOT BE FOOLED)... More
