THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!. I was interested in purchasing a 2013 Hyundai genesis. I recently went to sansone hyundai located in Avenel nj. I spoke to a salesperson over there who gave me a price of $37,500 for 2013 Hyundai genesis. I recently went to sansone hyundai located in Avenel nj. I spoke to a salesperson over there who gave me a price of $37,500 for a 2013 hyundai genesis fully loaded with navigation xenon headlights etc. I did what most car buyers would do and shopped around. I came across BRAD BENSON HYUNDAI I spoke with someone named ed Flannigan. I called before I came down and ed told me he was leaving @ 7pm. I told him I was really interested in the car and would like to come down to make a purchase. Ed told me to come down and he will wait for me. I specifically asked him if they had any 2013 hyundai genesis fully loaded with the features I was looking for in stock.. he told me yes. Before I left the house I called back to verify your address. I spoke with another gentleman who’s name I didn’t get. He told me ed just stepped out and will be back in about 5 to 10 mins. I told the gentleman I had a appointment with him and just wanted to verify your address. After verifying the address I asked the other gentleman again I just wanted to double check you guys have 2013 hyundai genesis in the dealer I can look @ correct... He stated yes we do. I live about 30 mins away. I got my 2 yr old son dressed and headed to the dealer. When I got there I met with ed who automatically tried to sell me a 2012 hyundai genesis. I told him I wanted a 2013 fully loaded hyundai genesis. I then told him I wanted prices on both and if the price is rite I just might go for the 2012. He then told me that he didn’t have any 2013 fully loaded. I told him well you told me you did on the phone that’s why I drove 30 mins to come down here so late. He told me I never that which was a lie. I then began to leave your dealership because I was unhappy. Then a finance manager came out who was really nice, and asked me if he can get a 2013 would I still be interested in purchasing from them. I told him of course I would. He then asked me if I would still like to work with ed and I told him yes. The finance manager then old me he will beat any price I was given by another dealer. After sitting down with ed for 25 mins who just asked me questions about the car I drive now then told me he is going to speak with his boss. He then came back about 10 mins later and told me his boss will be over in a couple of mins.i sat down and waited for over a hour for his boss to come over who never did. My son started to get upset. So I asked ed if he can see how long more his manager has because I need to take my son home. He stated yeah if you want I can ask. I then said yes Its been over an hour and he didn’t come over yet. About 15 mins later a gentleman came over whose name I didn’t get sat down and told me that he can’t give me the car for that price and I should have bought the car from sansone. As a sales person how do you tell a valued customer to go and shop somewhere else? I then told him well why when I called I was told that you guys will beat the price I got from another dealer and made me come all the way down here to hear something else? He then told me sorry there’s nothing we can do. As a customer this is unacceptable. To treat someone like this. Just tell them whatever they want to hear and make them go out of their way just to get them down to your dealership. I went to multiple dealers in the past and have never been thru an experience like this one. There is multiple people at my job looking to purchase hyundai’s and I will make sure they don’t choose brad Benson! Where ever I go they will follow. If you guys would like to stay in business a little longer maybe you should have better trained employees who know how to deal with customers and be nice with them. I wish I would have read the reviews on this place before I wasted my time!!!! More
My daughter and i had a wonderful day. She purchased her first new car, an elantra coupe ,now i barely see her she loves it so much. I purchased a sonata. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was my first time buying a car this past Saturday. I came in with my mom, and Manning was waiting at the door for us. He was funny, nice, and personable. It was a pleasure to have met Sammy Chou. I went in with an interest in buying an SUV, having done a little research with the make and model I was hoping to buy. Sammy was friendly from the moment he steppe an interest in buying an SUV, having done a little research with the make and model I was hoping to buy. Sammy was friendly from the moment he stepped up to greet us at the front door, even offering us food and drink that was available at the dealership since in was around dinnertime. His attention to detail, extensive knowledge of product, and customer services skills was top-notch. He spent quite some time in the lot showing us each car that was available, the color, trim, and even the goodies that each package offered. It took us a while to decide, but he was very patient with us through it all and eventually sold us a car that I LOVE! Even after the sale, he has keep in touch by phone every so often, sending a card to congratulate me on the sale once again. Great service definitely- would highly recommend, Sammy and HYUNDAI. More
I was particularly impressed by Bills patience with me as I was undecided at first if it was the car I wanted. I don't like to make quick decisions on big purchases. He worked with me to get the car that I was looking for at a price that worked for me. He also took the initiative to look out for me and understood that my time was valuable so after the final decision, he made sure things moved speedily to get me driving my car home ASAP. I also appreciated his follow up to make sure everything is ok and see if I'm satisfied. I'm very happy with my car buying experience. More
