Came in after doing research and getting prices other places. I did hear many things about this dealership and honestly was concerned. Had a scheldued appt set up. Greeted at once (not jumped on). Found places. I did hear many things about this dealership and honestly was concerned. Had a scheldued appt set up. Greeted at once (not jumped on). Found the car I wanted and made the deal that I wanted. After that we decided to get a second car for my kids and that went even eaiser. I WOULD DEFINITLY RECOMEND STEVE LANDESMAN AND THIS DEARLERSHIP. Their care and concern was all that mattered to them. I was not pused into anything I did not want. Long day, but it is never short when buying a car. But I have to say it was an overall easy transction. When I need another car I will most definitly go back to Steve. Thank you for and wonderful car buying experience. More
I purchased my 2011 Hyundai Sonata last june and have nothing but one head ache after another. Brad Benson Sales told me that they would install an aftermarket sunroof in my car (which they did) and it i nothing but one head ache after another. Brad Benson Sales told me that they would install an aftermarket sunroof in my car (which they did) and it is a piece of garbage. Year to date it has been "repaired" 6 TIMES!! Special thanks to auto trendz!! On my last and final trip to the dealership , I complained about my lumbar support making a creaking sound and moving slightly while driving the car. I showed it to Damon , he acknowledged the problem and told me that it is not a major concern and that he will not write it up. When I asked why he would not write it up he looked me in the face and said "Dude, its not a major concern im not writing this up" and then walked away from me. Now, obviously upset i asked the receptionist Marissa to have my car removed from the service department and was un acknowledged. After repeating my request for the third time to the receptionist , Stacy asked me to wait out side and she would take my car out for me. Still Damon was hiding behind the service dept. wall ( very professional ) I decided to call the Brad Benson consumer reports line and on the recording you are promised that someone will return your call in 12hrs or less. It has been 11 days and still no call back. Fed up i called Hyundai of North America consumer reports where I filed a complaint on the horrible service department , the problem that i still have with my lumbar support and of corse a complaint on how RUDE AND UN PROFESSIONAL Damon is. What ever happened to customer satisfaction or even respect for the customer? BUYER BE-WARE THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS HORRIBLE!! AFTER YOU BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP THEY DO NOT HELP YOU!! This was my first and LAST car i will ever buy from them. Currently I am servicing my car at Freehold Hyundai. I know where ill be buying my next car from! More
The employees at Brad Benson knew exactly what they were doing and the sales operation was a well oiled machine. They were very friendly and did there best to match me up with the car I wanted and at a pric doing and the sales operation was a well oiled machine. They were very friendly and did there best to match me up with the car I wanted and at a price I could afford. And I got to drive it home that night. I love the car (Elantra). Charles Link More
They are a bunch of unprofessional crooks who are acting like vultures. They were forcing us to sign some useless paper; going over surveys like, “what station you are you listening” and such. Basically, th like vultures. They were forcing us to sign some useless paper; going over surveys like, “what station you are you listening” and such. Basically, they were droning on to make you tired and ready to sign any deals just to get a car. After we walked away, the manager, Mile, was screaming and chasing us with an unprofessional manner. These guys are complete sleeze. Their approach to selling cars is to hassle you until you want to walk away. While waiting, we saw a sales manager arguing with a customer and almost left just becaus selling cars is to hassle you until you want to walk away. While waiting, we saw a sales manager arguing with a customer and almost left just because of how rude he was being. I spent over an hour negotiating because they will repeat themselves 50 times so that they can pull the wool over your eyes. You want to negotiate a price for the car - they want to give you a price per month to finance and they wont talk to you any other way. All in all, I negotiated what I believe to be a fair price, but I would never go back to this dealer. I have bought another Hyundai in the past at a different dealer and had a much more positive experience. Forget about post-purchase customer service. We had a number of issues/questions for the sales manager. He seems to have a lot of trouble returning phonecalls. STAY AWAY FROM BRAD BENSON HYUNDAI! More
I can't tell you how much I love my new 2011 Hyundai Elantra. I feel like I got such a phenomenal deal here on such a phenomenal car. I know I couldn't have done better. My family went to a wedding out Elantra. I feel like I got such a phenomenal deal here on such a phenomenal car. I know I couldn't have done better. My family went to a wedding out on Long Island and I insisted we take my new Elantra. Everybody loved it! And the people in the back seat were very comfortable! ... The gas mileage is impressive for a non-hybrid, especially when fuel prices are so high nowadays (we consistently hit 40mpg with cruise control). I can't get enough of the Bluetooth. The calls are crystal clear and it's so much safer than fiddling around with my old headset. Everyday I love my car more and more! I want to say thanks to Steve Blaine for getting me such an insane deal on the Elantra, and for showing me everything I needed to know about the car and the controls. I am so happy with it!!! More
First, I love my two hyundais both purchases at BB. We have a 2004 sonata and a 2009 Santa Fe. I have had no problem with the Sonata. The Santa Fe's A/C shut down last week and here is were things went do have a 2004 sonata and a 2009 Santa Fe. I have had no problem with the Sonata. The Santa Fe's A/C shut down last week and here is were things went down hill. We were told that if there was a parts problem it would be covered but if there was no issue we would be charged for diagnositics. The A/C is a sealed system so there had to be a parts or manufacturer issue. They did the test and re-charged the system but found nothing. They said the was no problem and that would be $137. I replied, "Freon does not disappear by magic! There is a leak but you didn't find it." I would have been willing to pay for the freon and 15 minutes of labor to recharge but they refused to budge. I was told to pay in full or get out and never come back. To think of all the money BB puts into TV and radio ads to attract suckers to his sleazy deals, you would think he might put 10% of that into keeping the ones he did get. The "service" manager did not even bother to talk to us. Shows you the quality of personnel they hire. Hey Brad you will not EVER have to worry that I will come back there except to waste your salesmens time. More
Brad Benson had the exact car that I wanted and Joel Aronson, internet sales, was there to greet me at the appointed time. Introduced me to Steve who walked me through the car and its features and then Aronson, internet sales, was there to greet me at the appointed time. Introduced me to Steve who walked me through the car and its features and then facilitated a very thorough test drive during which any additional questions were answered. Professional demeanor of staff is exemplary and at no time did I feel that I was being pressured. Even though several additional packages were offered to me by Garret in finance, there was absolutely no problem when I declined. Price was way more than fair and the buying process was painless. My wife and I were treated with courtesy and all requests for information were promptly accommodated. Experience could not be better unless the car was free! More
Wonderful service, professional, friendly and courteous! I was greeted with a smile and treated with the utmost respect throughout my time at the dealership. Let me first say my salesman was the only one that helped me resolve my situation. He was great, although he schmoozed me into my deal. First issue - they made a mistake with my financial paperwork. Richi me resolve my situation. He was great, although he schmoozed me into my deal. First issue - they made a mistake with my financial paperwork. Richie V called and left me an urgent message. I called back and didn't hear from him for days, then received a return call that it was urgent I come in that day. I can only assume the urgency was because the dealership was out money, because they showed no sense of urgency to resolve my issue. I went in, an huge inconvenience to sign the paperwork and luckily didn't leave right away because he had mess it up again and had to come get me in the show room to sign a third time. At that point he assured me that my registration would be received in time (evidently the paperwork screw up delayed it). Flash forward to the day my registration expires - I haven't heard anything from the dealership so I call. Tom says he will look into it a call me right back. Two hours later he leaves me a message that it isn't in and I should call in the morning. I call in the morning and Tom is off. So I leave a message for Keith. Again no call back. I call a second time and am told to call in the morning again. Next morning I call and Keith is with a customer so I leave a message. I call back 5 hours later and he is still with a customer and I am told the dealership is very busy. I guess becaue they have my money now they don't need to be customer oriented. I call back again and am told by Tom to call in the morning. Morning 4, as I drive around with no registration I call again. Tom is busy, leave a message. I call back later and everyone is busy again. At this point I ask for someone in charge and suddenly Tom is not busy not but he "will see if he can do anything". Really, and if he can't I just don't get my registration. Miraculously the next morning it is in. And out of the goodness of their heart they have made my monthly payment so "my credit is damaged" even though their paperwork screw up caused the billing not to come through, so I will owe money. Thats fine. I get there and write a check and Mike comes back and says they can't take my check. Why? Something about motor vehicle needs cash, even though the money is not for registration but for my payment. So I offer to charge, but no he needs cash. So I leave, because it is highly suspicious that they only take cash and that no one mentioned that earlier (I would think most people don't walk around with a car payments worth of cash in their pocket). Luckily my salesman is there and straightens out the extortion issue so I can get my plates. As we are outside, that snotty Mike snidely says "oh they gave them to you". What a horrendous experience. Once they have your signature, they don't care anything about what you need, and evidently don't want a paper trail so they deal in cash. Do not go to this dealership unless you want to be ripped off and treated poorly. More
