Jorge was very knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in as well as the competing vechiles I was looking at. Throughout the entire process Jorge was very honest, professional and personable. Management even agreed to personally deliver the vehicle to my house which was an awesome perk. I was even more surprised when Jorge was one of the drivers and after driving over an hour to my place he took the time to review in more detail the car's infotaiment system with me. As of 12 Feb 14, I am still un ***MILITARY BUYERS BEWARE*** I want everyone to be aware of the unethical business practices of Meadowlands Nissan. As of 12 Feb 14, I am still unable to drive my 2014 Nissan GTR I purchased on 10 Jan 14. Here are the specific grievances against Meadowlands: 1. Extortion: After Bill of Sale was signed and the title was transferred to my bank, Meadowlands contacted me asking for an additional $1000.00 or they would not ship my vehicle. They stated that it wasn’t the agreed upon price even though it’s a binding contract that was signed by the dealer/authorized representative. Unfortunately, I gave in with the stipulation that Meadowlands will ship my vehicle ASAP with no issues. I didn’t receive the vehicle until 2 Feb 14, almost one month from the purchase date with expired temporary registration on the vehicle. 2. Disclosure of Charges: I was charged $3340 for shipping of my vehicle to California. The bill of lading at the receipt of the vehicle was $2350. When I spoke with an individual at Meadowlands, they stated that the original cost was $3340 and they went with another vendor. In my opinion, I should be credited the difference. Meadowlands will not credit me the difference in the cost of shipping. 3. Failure to Follow-up: It has been a month since the loan closed on my vehicle and I am unable to drive my car. They failed to properly register my vehicle and after multiple attempts to rectify the situation, they ignore me. I have contacted the DMV and they have not received any registration information from Meadowlands. Unfortunately, I have to wait for Meadowlands to complete this transfer. 4. Disrespect to the Customer: I have contacted Meadowlands multiple times and have been passed around to 7 different individuals. The all state they would follow-up with no contact from their company. I even overheard an individual state “tell him I’m unavailable” in the background when I call. I have contacted Nissan Corporate and they opened a case (#13123364) to investigate. If you have had any similar experiences please contact them at (615) 725-7438 so they can apply the appropriate pressure and hopefully correct their business practices. I’ve also opened up a complaint with the BBB for Elmwood Motors, Inc (now Meadowlands). In addition, I’ve consulted with a military attorney and pursing small’s claims suit against Meadowlands. Local news stations in the area have also agreed to investigate the business practices of Meadowlands Nissan and the treatment of military personnel. Please be advised when purchasing a vehicle from Meadowlands out-of-state. They claim to help the military; however, their business practices do not support this. Chris Cobb More

This is my 3rd Nissan. Engell was my salesman and he was so great to work with; he understood what I wanted and delivered to perfection!! This is my third car I lease from Meadowlands. Every time I have gone, I have left very happy. Brian was very friendly, answered all my questions, and made myself and family feel very comfortable. He even called to check up on me after the purchase, to see if I had any questions. He made the daunting task of leasing a car very quick. I was very more than satisfied with my purchase. Will definitely come back to Meadowlands Nissan for a fourth time and work with Brian again! After a horrible experience at Nissan of Manhattan I found this place descend enough to return for service more than once. Yes, service advisors here are not mechanics but at least in my case they tried found this place descend enough to return for service more than once. Yes, service advisors here are not mechanics but at least in my case they tried. All depends how well you understand and research your vehicle's problem yourself prior to your visit here. They also rent you a vehicle should you leave yours for a day or two. Mechanic work wise - whatever they fixed in my Murano still works. Also, I think many frustrated comments here not because of this dealer in particular but overall decrease in Nissan quality. Unfortunately, in the last 10 years the quality of Nissan vehicles built in North America has slipped noticeably. As a result people complain more and then switch to other brands (Honda, Toyota). Three weeks ago today, I picked up my 2011 Nissan Altima coupe. I love the car and dealing with Meadowlands Nissan was a wonderful car-buying experience. All in all, the car is great and so was the buying experience with Meadowlands Nissan.
