I explained I wasn't going to purchase a vehicle that day. Everyone was fine with it. I called back 2 days later expressing my desire to buy the 2nd vehicle I test drove. Everything was in motion, got a call back to have a deposit so I could secure the special rebates etc due to Memorial Day Weekend. Financing, everything complete insurance etc..Call next morning to ensure all is cool with pickup of my vehicle the following day and the answer is YES. MUCH later that same day I receive a phone call that my car was apparently already claimed and purchased by someone else. My deposit meant nothing. My time meant nothing. My experience as their customer meant nothing. The sales person Manny had to take the brunt of my anger that I actually held in. I felt bad that I even got emotional with him. This dealership doesn't like to put SOLD signs on their cars. They have a system that " prevents " this from happening. What a joke. I was never contacted by anyone with a title, never contacted by a manager and as much as I was told the need to "make it right" there was no effort other than for me to wait a few weeks or pick a car that was not what I wanted. I have had multiple poor experiences with Nissan Dealerships in New Jersey. I like Nissans. I recommend you check out Hudson Nissan in Jersey City as they come highly recommended by a friend and I am contacting them. The best part of course.. I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY DEPOSIT LOL !! More

What can i say, were do i start... I walked into Meadowlands Nissan specifically looking for Engell because my sister bought 2 cars their and Engell's customer service was amazing. She was right, from the time i went in it was like i new him for years, he really makes you feel comfortable. Applied absolutely NO PRESSURE to buy a vehicle at all. Actually, its annoying when dealers try to pressure you into buying something. His customer service was a 10 out of 10. I also had a issue because I bought my Rogue but i am from another state, MASS, and i needed to do a change of address and a lot of phone calls to bank and insurance. This guy went the extra mile by making phone calls to another state ON HIS DAY OFF, a week after i purchased my vehicle. He didn't have to do that. I will definitely be going back to Meadowlands in the future. Not only is Nissan a reliable name, but Engell's hospitality n warm customer service won me over. He should seriously be giving classes on customer service since so many dealers lack it these days. More

I have to say that before coming to Meadowlands Nissan I thought all car dealerships were snakes! Eddie Singh changed my mind about all that negative thought. I needed a much larger car for my new baby & business being that my current vehicle was a convertible 2D PT Cruiser. I went over to Teterboro Chrysler to see what I could get as a trade-in...WHAT A DUMP being that my current vehicle was a convertible 2D PT Cruiser. I went over to Teterboro Chrysler to see what I could get as a trade-in...WHAT A DUMP to say the least. I couldn't run out of that place fast enough. Nissan was my next stop strictly because I was interested in the Murano. I was greeted as soon as I got in the door by a gentleman named Dwight. To my dismay there were NO used Murano's on the lot (the only reason I gave a "4" for overall experience) so within minutes Dwight took us around the lot to show us what was in-stock and more importantly in our budget. He was personable, happy and super easy to work with. I'm so grateful that this car dealership exists! Needless to say I left with a large SUV without breaking the bank thanks to Dwight, Marc and Anthony. I waited an extra year to trade-in my vehicle because I didn't want to deal with the aggravation and jerks at the dealerships, had I known it was going to be this easy I would have been driving a newer and larger car months ago! We were in the market to buy a new car and since we live nearby, our first stop was Nissan Meadowlands. Turned out it was the last one too. Mike was very helpful and respectful. I originally brought my car into Nissan of Meadowlands 04/25/12 because I had a check engine light on. Theresa Rodriguez the Service Technician got into a verbal altercation with my boyfriend. She was ru 04/25/12 because I had a check engine light on. Theresa Rodriguez the Service Technician got into a verbal altercation with my boyfriend. She was rude and inappropriate to the customer. She insulted him telling him that he was not “certified” to make any judgments about the car and that “she could be his mother” in terms of the amount of experience she had working with cars. She told me not to bring him back to Nissan with me. They told me I had no oil because I did not do maintenance on my car. I was blamed for the lack of maintained and they said I had to prove I maintained my car with oil changes. If I was unable to show proof then my warranties could get voided. I only had my car for a year and they were insinuated that I caused whatever engine problems they found. They said there was no oil in my car. Theresa’s exact words was that my car was “bone dry” and that may have been the reason for my check engine light. They told me I needed an oil change, Engine flush, coolant flush and cabin filter. Of course none of this is covered under warranty. I let them perform the oil change. I went and picked up my car on 4/25/12 and noticed that there was a sticker on the bottom of my front passenger side floor. It was a sticker from Valvoline that showed I had performed an oil change. The tech from Nissan Meadowlands must have pulled it off my window and forgot to throw it out. The tech MUST of saw that sticker and knew I did get an oil change performed on my vehicle but failed to inform me of that. With that sticker I was able to go to Valvoline and get my receipt as proof that I took care of my car. I gave them the receipts that showed them I did maintenance. 5/7/12, a week later the light came on. Once again they told me it was due to lack of maintenance but now they told me it was because of the Nissan Dealership I originally purchased it from. Theresa Rodriguez the service adviser at Nissan of Meadowlands told me they refused to fix my car. Meadowlands Nissan told me even though I have two warranties they would not fixed my car. They told me I had to call Nissan of North America and tell them the dealership I purchased the car from was at fault. Theresa claimed Five Towns Nissan was to be blamed. She told me that they did not do an oil change since 2010 and they were to blame. I was told the total amount to fix my car was around $900. This dealership was unhelpful from the beginning and wanted to only perform the work if it was me paying. I want reimbursement for the diagnostic performed and the time I wasted going back and forth trying to show proof I maintained my car. I ended up bringing my car to another Hackensack Nissan and it was fixed. Everything that was under warranty was repaired. They were very nice and helpful unlike meadowlands Nissan. More
