Now I got my car, so I want to confirm these useful reviews based on my own experience, which in my opinion are pretty accurate and I would give the same rate 4.8/5.0. My car buying process is hassle-free comparing with all the tricks listed on carbuyingtips, thanks to the professional salesman Chris Buda. I was approached by him with a reasonable internet price to begin with, which is very competitive among all the quotes I received. Since I already tested Altima, we were able to reach a mutually acceptable price after a few email exchanges. As I said, Chris is professional and reasonable. He is not act, pushy, or easily-agitated at all. He knows the car very well and is willing to think on both sides. The only surprise in this hassle-free car-buying is that I was offered by Nissan a high financing rate due to my lack of credit history in USA. But Jeff(rey) negotiated for me with Nissan so that in the end I got 2% less the ARP all thanks to him. I din't give a full mark because I didn't have much to say about the after-sale customer service, car repairs, and maintenance, etc. I'll update my reviews when I have some exposure in this regards. Our sales rep Dwight Blackwood was knowledgeable about all the vehicles we looked at, patient,super easy to work with, and the most important to my wife and I, not pushy. We had decided on a used Nissan Altima. As we discussed the car price, I brought up that there was a better 'internet' price, Dwight gave us the better price, without any haggling. This is the fifth new car in my lifetime, Dwight easily was one of the most comfortable sales reps I've ever dealt with. The only blemish and actual haggling was done with Joe the Finance rep over the coverages for warranties which was a bit tenuous, but in the end we are very comfortable with our deal, happy with the price we received and we will come back to Meadowlands Nissan to look for another car in the future. It was my first time buying a car and I wanted to finance an SUV. The four dealers I visited gave me the same story: "your credit credit is light and your income limited." I did not want to buy a USED car under 5000 (the downpayment I had) because most of those vehicles come with problems, too many miles and no warranties. As I was about to give up and just buy one of those, but I went to Meadowlands Nissan referred to Xavier Salazar by someone who has bought several cars from him. The moment I stepped in and met him, he made me feel very comfortable and calm. He explained to me my credit score, and the different options I could have. I was very firm that I needed a truck, and he explained the steps I needed to qualify for one. Once I understood the process, he introduced me to Nelson Badillo, whom not only was a gentleman, but he had the time and patience to put up with the thousands of questions I had. After looking at various cars and test drive three of them, I made up my mind. It was late at night (after 8:30 PM) and Xavier explained to me that my situation was a bit delicate, so I had to put a hold on the car until the next day which he could work with his Finance department and help me achieve the budget I had previously discussed with him. I was very much hesitant, because I have heard dealers take a deposit and do not refund them. NOT THE CASE HERE! As promised I received a phone call that the loan was approved, but I had to give him the bad news that my insurance was A LOT more expensive than expected. He asked me to come to see him at the dealer and he was able to help me get me a $3,000 savings a year in insurance coverage compared to all the quotes I had gotten from other insurance companies! The car was re-cleaned and in mint condition. The Finance Manager Joe was very thorough and he went over all the options I could get for my loan. I have to say that not only I am very happy with my car, but so is my father, because Xavier, Nelson and Joe were able to provide the assistance for me to get the car I wanted at the budget I had. Down to earth, no pressure, extremely professional. Thank you one more time guys for all the help! I would encourage people to visit this place if you want to buy a certified pre-owned car. They are indeed the best out there. More
