I made an appointment online to bring my vehicle in for service on Monday May 21, 2017 at 7:00 am. Upon my arrival I explained to the service adviser what was going on with my vehicle and he stated I would be charged $129.00 for evaluation and would be contacted to approve/disapprove the work needed. At approximately 12:10 pm on that day, not having heard from anyone, I placed a call to the service dept and spoke with a receptionist who said she had spoken with my service adviser and he would check on my vehicle and would call me back in a few minutes. After waiting about one and one half hours, I received a return call from the service adviser who wanted to know what I wanted. I stated I had not heard from anyone and was wondering what was going on with my vehicle. He put me on hold and after awhile he stated that my vehicle was next to go into the shop. I stated “ after it being there for 6 hours, it is now going in to be evaluated”? To which he replied “yes”. I told him to call me when he knew something. Later in the day he called and advised of the repairs needed and the approximate cost ($867.00) however; they did not have the part in stock but he would order it and it would be there on Tuesday May 23, 2017 and the repairs would be completed. At 5:20 pm I received a call from the service dept and was advised that my vehicle was ready for pickup. Upon arriving at the service dept I was advised that the total was now $1100.00 I told him that I was quoted a total price of $867.00. I told him he better call someone, because I was not going to pay that price. He placed a call and told me that they would lower the price to $899.00. I had purchased five (5) vehicles from this dealership since 2008 and was always extremely satisfied with their sales and service dept. However I will no longer be a customer of this dealership. They need to get their act together. Shame on them. More

The customer service I have experienced at this dealership during the past couple of months and especially today have been the worst I have ever experienced at any car dealership or service center. This morning when I dropped off my CR-V for a routine B1 service, the service advisor was unable to provide an estimate of when it would be done. Someone called me around 9:45am to upsell me on additional services I specifically declined when I dropped off the car. During this same conversation the advisor told me that they would call me when the vehicle was ready for pickup. Not having heard from the dealership by 3pm, I called and they gave me an attitude and said "you were called at 9:45am and told your car was ready. If you didn't understand..." During the call at 9:45am, I was explicitly told that they were still working on my vehicle. At the service counter there was only one other customer waiting and one customer being helped. With three service advisors available, it was not a busy time. Additionally, there were many folks inside the dealership standing around with their hands in their pockets. Over the past seven years, I have been quite pleased with the service and sales departments at Route 23 Honda. Unfortunately, since they were acquired by new management Route 23 Honda lost the my trust they earned over the past seven years. More

Great Service at Honda Rt23! Dino Riccio was our sales representative he was above helpful and courteous. He helped my parents buy a brand new 2016 CRV which they love! He helped then through the process 100% from trading in their old car to setting the radio and cell phone up in their new car. The process was fast, fun, and friendly. SHAME ON HONDA RT 23'S HANDLING OF AIR BAG SAFETY RECALL Very disappointed in Route 23 Honda's handling of our airbag recall. Its been 6 months since we received a recall notice on the air bags in the car. Very disappointed in Route 23 Honda's handling of our airbag recall. Its been 6 months since we received a recall notice on the air bags in the car. Received one notice and when I called should have received two notices. Took a long time to get the airbags, understandably. Called me the air bags were in, I arranged to leave work early to be set up with a loaner. Received a call the night before, only one of the recalled air bags is in. Had to reschedule. Still was not annoyed. 7 weeks went by and I picked up the phone and called Rt 23 Honda to inquire because it had been so long. I learned in the first 45 seconds of the call they had them and they were sitting there and no one notified me. This annoyed me. Ask for a manager to vent to and at 4 pm told no one to take my call. I called Honda corporate and made a complaint. Getting my work done at another Honda-never to return to Route 23 Honda again. Cant trust them to handle my safety. In the past 7 years our family including brothers and sisters and aunt and father have bought 5 new Hondas from this dealership and another 1 from a dealership on Rt 46. SHAME ON HONDA HOW THEY HANDLED THIS SAFETY RECALL. More
Recall on my vehicle for airbags When I received my vehicle , I open the glove box and my usb car charger was missing. It saids when you bring your car for service to remove your personal valuables. I decided let me to just put it in the glove box. I left my car to get repaired worst places in the middle of the hood of paterson and nothing ever missing. The sign should say our employees steal so make sure you take your xxxx. Its shame and very petty. More
Bought a lemon. Very unhappy with the seats and the Service When car was 3 weeks old needed new parts which took 2 weeks in rental. Since purchased in 2013 the car has needed brakes, 4 new tires, battery and starter. The car wouldn't start I took it in for service 3 times they couldn't decide what the problem was so they gave me a starter which the charged me around $700.00. I bring the car home and the next morning the car wouldn't start so they came and jumped started it and put a new battery in it and didn't charge me. So basically they charged me &700.00 for a new battery. I have a new starter which I didn't need. Manager said to me didn't you ever hire a plumber and the made a mistake. She was not helpful and rather rude. Very poor experience there. More
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. First to arrive this AM. Made appt. place was not secured from nite before. Call again. Told my car hasn't been seen "cause they were slammed with walk-ins". Regis will call back, but doesn't. I call again Regis is with customer. I ask for manager. I'm told she will leave her message but she probably won't have any time to call me back. I call again and tell them I'm picking up my car TO NEVER RETURN. Regis says, not directly to me but thru the person who actually came to the phone, that's fine. NOW THAT'S REALLY CRAPPY SERVICE. More

Excellent Service and Professional Atmosphere! Regis, was my Service Advisor, and Justin the Support Tech that worked on my 2004 CRV today - 7/14/16. Both went "over-and-above" in taking care of my service concerns and could not have been more helpful. They listened to my issues and even had Justin ride with me to try and reproduce the problem. After all was "said and done" the service performed was perfect, and the price very fair. I was thinking of purchasing a Chevy Colorado, but the service at Rt23 Honda has me now looking at a new Ridgeline. More

I do have the best Experience with stuff mechanics and Costumer service. I live 15 mile oway and i have two other dealership close by ,but Honda dealership at Rt 23 is the best.
