Doug for the win!! I went in to the dealership having an appointment with Doug Ford, unfortunately he was already with another client so I ended up with Joe which wasn't I went in to the dealership having an appointment with Doug Ford, unfortunately he was already with another client so I ended up with Joe which wasn't an issue, at first. Joe asked a couple questions. I had told him about a deal I had heard about and wanted to check out a focus. He asked me what color I preferred and he went and brought the car around. Mind you, if I would have been told about other deals or was even given the opportunity to look at different vehicles, I probably would have gotten a bigger one. I went out with Joe to test drive the car. I was pretty irritated that my test drive was only in the parking lot... Who does that? I didn't even make it to 20 mph. I had asked some questions such as something about the transmission and Joe was unknowledgeable. After my extremely short "test drive" I wanted to look in the trunk, Joe was unaware of where the trunk button was so I just used the key fob. I asked Joe if there were any that had a black interior. He went to check and told me no, later to find out he only looked in the blue cars. At this point I was frustrated and just ready to leave beings as I had to get back to work and didn't plan on being at the dealership all day so I finally said screw it, let's just buy it. Joe was very short and to the point. He was not knowledgeable about the car at all. When the car was delivered he handed me the keys, asked for a picture and that was that, leaving me very uneducated about the car. Since Doug was supposed to be my original seller, he followed up with me after I bought the car. Doug was AMAZING!! He told me about several things I was unaware of... Like my car just automatically shuts off when I stop some times, that was super fun to learn.. from experience... NOT! Doug apologized multiple times for me not being given the information I should have originally received. He answered all of my questions, was extremely knowledgeable about the car and even offered to go over absolutely everything with me like it should have been originally done in the first place. I was very upset with my purchase and had no intentions on ever going back to Rusty Eck until Doug got ahold of me and helped me out. From now on, he's the only person I'll be going to, to buy a car! More
