I brought my SUV in for new tires, an alignment and inspection. When I picked it up I was told my battery had 76% life left and was holding 100% charge. Later that day, I tried to start my car and the inspection. When I picked it up I was told my battery had 76% life left and was holding 100% charge. Later that day, I tried to start my car and the battery was completely dead. I didn’t have/ leave my lights on, use a charger, etc. for anything to kill the battery after picking it up leading me to believe someone at the dealership did something/ reconnected my battery incorrectly for it to die. I brought it back to the dealership the next day, they confirmed it was dead and proceeded to charge me another $200 for a new battery. I firmly believe the battery died through no fault of my own and that someone either did something on purpose or it was just shoddy work. I have always brought my vehicle to Rusty Wallace on Alcoa Highway for all maintenance, including oil changes and I will never bring it back to them again. Absolutely unacceptable!!! More
