I’ve owned my Kia for 10 yrs. & it’s been the best car I’ve ever had until I suddenly needed a $5000 motor. Between the dealership & manufacturer doing nearly nothing to discount the cost, even getting le I’ve ever had until I suddenly needed a $5000 motor. Between the dealership & manufacturer doing nearly nothing to discount the cost, even getting less discount than the service manager originally quoted, I’ll never buy another Kia. I felt such loyalty until this bad experience that I’m still upset after getting my car back. I basically paid for the car twice. And the priority at the dealership seemed to be getting the loaner car back more than the fact that a very reliable car for 10 yrs. suddenly wasn’t drivable without a new motor. I will say that the only conversation that showed any specific customer care was the last time I talked with Chase & he said to keep the loaner until I heard from Kia Goodwill. More
