I was visiting my son in Louisville and had a problem with my 2014 Sportage. I needed to know if it was safe to drive the 600 miles home. The service Mgr went above and beyond and had the car checked out with my 2014 Sportage. I needed to know if it was safe to drive the 600 miles home. Took over a week to have vehicle diagnostic done. Recommended complete motor replacement. Picked van up and drove home, approximately 26 miles. Took van next day and had motor flushed at oil and lube business. Oil was changed, full synthetic. Have driven van now for over 600 miles and haven't experienced any break downs. Two estimates that were given were almost $14,000 and short of $20,000. Wasn't going to place more in repairs than worth of vehicle. Vehicle has required several repairs and recalls over past five years. This vehicle had to have all injectors replaced, at a Rusty Wallace KIA service center, and vehicle experienced issues from that point forward. More
