The dealership told me that a tire that had a nail in it couldn't be repaired. They told me that I should buy 2 new tires for $600 even though these tires have good tread. The dealership said that my coolant level was low and recommended a coolant flush for $300. Herson's Honda reviewed the service records for my Pilot (I have always adhered to the Honda maintenance schedule and I have always had my vehicle serviced at Safford Brown, where I bought it), they noted that I had the coolant flushed at 53k miles and since that service is only recommended every 60k miles, they simply topped off the fluid. Herson's found an issue with my front suspension that Safford Brown missed. They contacted Safford Brown to find out about my extended warranty. They performed the $1500 repair under that warranty. Safford Brown quoted $750 to change the transmission fluid on my Pilot. Herson's only charged $350. The maintenance minder displayed B1367, the service advisor did not discuss the minder with me. Safford Brown noted that my back windshield wiper linkage was torn and estimated $90 to repair. Safford Brown charged $10 to fix the problem. More
