After trying several dealerships, and a prior successful visit to this particular dealer, I sent an email to a salesperson detailing an exact price, package and trade in details for my current vehicle. Both the salesperson and manager called shortly after to verbally confirm that there would be no problem with this deal. They had prior knowledge of my current vehicle from my last visit where they got both the pay off, and had one of their mechanics inspect it. The following Monday I went to the dealership, and they again inspected my vehicle and said the deal as I requested would work, but they needed to get my new vehicle from a different dealership. We agreed to meet the next night to finalize the purchase. The salesperson called me in the morning and explained the remote start I requested would not be ready; I expressed dissatisfaction as I had driven to work a 2nd day (I usually metro) and the salesperson said he would try and get the part from another dealership. For the remainder of the day , there was no response from anyone at the dealership As the end of the business approached, I received an email from a different employee to come in to get the my new car. At no point was I informed that both the salesperson and manager I had been dealing with were off that day. I was then taken in to meet with the financial person and noticed the deal had changed, and no longer included my current vehicle. He denied any knowledge of the previous deal, and again had my current vehicle inspected. This new appraisal changed the numbers, and the previous agreed upon deal was no longer available. At the end of the evening and after much frustration, I settled on the car for just under 2K higher than the previously agreed upon price, and did not receive the remote start for the vehicle. In addition, after I had signed the papers I was told by a different manager that I would have to wait at least an hour for my new vehicle to be ready. They had not gone to another dealership to retrieve my new car as we had agreed upon Monday night. Instead, they waited for a new shipment to arrive. I had actually been given the choice Monday night as to weather I wanted to wait for the new shipment, which would take longer, or get a car from a different location. Wanting to expedite the process, I chose the other location. I finally got my new car and left after 9:00 PM. After an already frustrating experience, the next day I was told by my insurance company that according to Maryland state law, I have to keep my old vehicle on my insurance until the tags are mailed to the DMV. When I contacted the dealership (as they had my old tags), not only did they have no knowledge of this law, but they were argumentative and unhelpful. They refused to mail my tags into the DMV, instead wanting me to come and pick them up myself. Ultimately we decided they would FedEx the tags directly to me. A word of caution, in the DC area there are several options as far as Honda dealerships go, I would advise choosing an alternative. More

Not only was he extremely knowledgable of the cars and friendly, Jose went above and beyond to ensure we saw all of the available options to choose the best car for us. His salesmanship is warm and inviting not pushy and overbearing. He even offered his cell phone number to call or text with any questions. We had a consistently positive experience with Lorenzo Sanchez as we worked through the financing. He did a fantastic job laying out all of the options. We were there until 11pm and never felt rushed. We would highly recommend the team at Brown's Arlington Honda if you are looking for a friendly and low stress car buying experience. Brad Gardner (sales) and Lorenzo Sanchez (finance) exceeded our expectations in regards to customer service. Every staff member (including the sales manager) that we encountered there was very friendly and responsive. Brown's was very competitive as far as matching and beating competitor pricing for a 2015 Honda Odyssey. They were patient with our decision making, answered all of our questions and concerns, and all with a friendly/ caring attitude. Out of all the Honda dealerships around the area (and we dealt with at least 4), they stood above them all-- in all aspects. Most of our initial negotiations were through email. They gave us a fair price for our trade-in vehicle and worked with us on getting the best financing available (they even beat the USAA financing that we had originally qualified for--which was a pleasant surprise). We will definitely start here the next time we are in the market for another vehicle. We hope that others get the same experience that we received. Thank you, Brown's Arlington Honda!! More

Normally, I hate buying cars because I always feel rushed, and I always feel like I'm getting a bad deal because of the rush. This time I wasn't rushed. And I knew exactly what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay. I wanted a used CRV under 20K. During work, I would peruse autotrader.com and after work I would visit local lots. There were a few practices in OTHER dealers that I found ridiculous. For example, many lots have a sticker price and an internet price. I'd go with the printout from autotrader but the sticker price would be a thousand more. I realize that once OTHER dealers realize you have access to this wonderful thing called the internet, they share the real price, but this is old-fashioned. I also didn't like how some lots would start way over KBB value and then we would haggle our way down. So this is why I rate my experience with Brown's so high. The car was priced to sell. It was a great deal, well below KBB value. The processing fee was lower than other dealerships, too. My salesman-- Charles Smoke--was very relaxed and honest. He explained the differences between the models. He didn't at any point pressure me. The office staff was quick. I was out of there fast. I actually had a similar experience at another Brown's, even though I didn't buy from them. It was low-pressure and predicated on the fact that we have internet access and can figure out whether we are getting a good deal or not. None of this-- let me talk to my manager nonsense. So I am quite happy with my purchase and experience at Brown's. More

He worked with General Sales Manager, George, to get me an excellent deal that I couldn't pass up. Additionally, Robert in finance was extremely nice to work with and incredibly patient. He was able to offer me a better interest rate than my credit union. Due to the professionalism of these individuals, the great prices, and the positive hassle free experience, I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone More
Terrible follow through We purchased a car from them and never received our registration. They continued to promise that they would overnight it. We called, emailed, ect. Each time they were going to send out another temporary registration, and never did. It has been a month now. They also said that I had to get the VIN number verified by law enforcement to have the car registered in the State I am from. They did not let me know this for several weeks. I am in the military, and can not leave my job Monday through Friday to go track down law enforcement to make sure that the car THEY sold me is legal. They will not help, arrange, or even send temporary registration. This is just terrible. Do NOT go to this dealership if you are in the military and need to register your car in your home State. They don't know what they are doing, and will not help you do it. More
