December 2013 I purchased my second Hyundai from Don Barker & Fairfax Hyundai. My first was a 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS that I absolutely loved for 7 1/2 years. I decided to consider a new vehicle becau Barker & Fairfax Hyundai. My first was a 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS that I absolutely loved for 7 1/2 years. I decided to consider a new vehicle because I currently work 3 jobs and can't afford have a car that doesn't have a warranty. This dealership and salesman won't steer you wrong. I have and will continue to recommend them to everyone I know. Both experiences with sales have been friendly, straight forward and honest. I had decided on this purchase to use my own financing, but they made it so easy and matched what I would have paid, that I went with them. Service is open late, will take you right in (even without an appt) easily and professionally. I can't recommend this dealership more. I've already sent them and Don several sales. All that I've sent are extremely pleased! More
My son took his Elantra in for service. the engine developped a misfire. Vehicle was diagnosed as needi8ng CAM sensor--replaced along with coil pack. Still did not repair problem, wa told he needed a developped a misfire. Vehicle was diagnosed as needi8ng CAM sensor--replaced along with coil pack. Still did not repair problem, wa told he needed a battery and cables, replaced/no repair. Said he needed alternator, not corrected. Many hundreds of dollars later, vehicle is still there as they "take another whack at it". Service Manager refuses to escalate to Hyundai, refuses to have General Manager involved. They did provide a loaner car---but demanded it back when my son complained about their total lack of communication and progress. Has to be the worst case of client service I have ever seen. We received a boilerplate "we value your business" email And then they do not return my calls---EVEN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT LINES RING BUSY!!! More

I received a quote of $15510 with Finance Cash of $1500 which was told did not qualify for. With those figures it comes to $16610. But on the Buyers Order it was $17450 which is $795 more then quoted. My Father has=d to co-sign and was given a 643 credit score. He went home and looked up credit scores and found a different numbers. Transunion 686 Experian 596 Equfax 681 So with those scores should have qualified for the extra $1500 Finance Cash. The Car is Fantastic but your Finance Staff sucks. The extras that were added on where fine. The Car should have been $2225 less, what happened? I came in to look at buying a new car, with the Genesis in mind, talked with Thomas and he talked to me about the Genesis, and suggested I also give consideration to the Azera. It turned out that was the r in mind, talked with Thomas and he talked to me about the Genesis, and suggested I also give consideration to the Azera. It turned out that was the right car for me. He listened to what I said I wanted in an automobile and was able to correctly match the right car, at the right price for what I was after. He was extremely helpful, friendly and product knowledgeable. While waiting for Thomas to get the keys to test drive the Genesis and Azera, I took the opportunity to talk with Sharise about the two cars, while assuring me I couldn't go wrong with either of them, suggested the Azera was worth a serious look. Her delightful personality and friendliness added to the overall positive experience at Fairfax Hyundai. More

When I made the decision to pull the trigger on the car, the experience became very different. I waited for close to 4 hours in the show room for my car to become ready. When it was finally done, I was brought into the dreaded back room, I was presented with pushy, uncooperative, and generally difficult to speak to indian gentleman. The first bump was he offered me an interest rate that was twice what the sales rep offered because I had "new credit". After threatening to walk out, he gave me the original rate and then began to very forcefully try to sell me on a several different products I was not interested, even going so far as to offer a service for free just so he could get a commission. After finally getting my car, I love it! but the experience getting it was not enjoyable for a first item car buyer. One of the things that they sell you one is a free oil change for life. Sounds great right? Well the first time I went in for a free oil change, it took them over 2 hours to service my car. The second time 45. The third time I left after being ignored by the desk reps.
