When Hyundai announced that they would separate Genesis into its own brand I was interested but wasn't ready to buy another one.....yet. My salesman showed me a 2017 in the same color as my 2015. Very nice, very tempting. However, it wasn't the same level of trim as the car I had. Then I saw the NY Concept at the 2016 NY Auto Show. What a great looking car and concept. I told my salesman that I wanted to wait and see what this slightly smaller, Genesis G70 would look like. I heard about a G80 Sport that was coming in the interim but was still willing to wait. Then Brown's got a Black one in and I got to see the car in person, as well as read up on what differentiated it from the "regular" G80. Then I saw the price they were offering the car for one day just before the 4th of July weekend. That did it. Texted my salesman, settled on the price, they had to find another Black AWD since the one I saw had been sold, and I brought my car in on the Friday before the 4th and drove out with my new 2018 G80 Sport on Saturday. What a great car. I thought the '15 was heaven but they're going to have to bury me in this car. It is That Good!! And Brown's will keep getting my money. Can't beat their deals!!!! More

Deceptive Practices I saw a Santa Fe Sport advertised on their site at a price that was $3,000 cheaper than neighboring dealerships. I emailed management to inquire about I saw a Santa Fe Sport advertised on their site at a price that was $3,000 cheaper than neighboring dealerships. I emailed management to inquire about the car and told it was new, the VIN indicated mileage was "N/A". With a dealer price that much lower I knew there had to be something wrong. I set up a meeting to look at the car. I stated my interest and began discussions. Only after an hour and price was settle on did the sales person nervously admin that the "new" car has over 3,000 miles on it. They purposely waited until a price was settle before divulging this. And then the sales rep muttered some garbage about sales folks ""gently" driving it for a couple of weeks. These people think the general public are morons, plain and simple. Additionally they padded the taxes and tags entry with $1000 "processing" fee of some sort, after promising an out the door price. And finally the financial rep lured me in with the 0.9% rate offer and ended up with 5.99% rate from Hyundai and said it was the best he could do and all I had to do was refinance at the end of the year no problem. There is a problem: rates are rising quickly now. Bottom line, they have zero respect for the buying public. My recommendation is to go anywhere other than Brown to buy a new car, mak sire it's not a "demo", and get your own financing. More
