My wife and I went to Safford only to look at options for trading in her 2008 Jeep Patriot Sport. We had seen two 2011 models that had 4-wheel drive on their website and I had been bringing both our Jeeps t trading in her 2008 Jeep Patriot Sport. We had seen two 2011 models that had 4-wheel drive on their website and I had been bringing both our Jeeps to Safford for service (also really satisfied with their service department), a kinda win-win. Benjamin met us outside and I asked him to show us the two 4WD Jeep Patriots he had since we did not see them out in the front lot. He went back in and grabbed the keys to a couple he had on the front lot for us to look at while he located the ones we wanted to see on the website. Minutes later after deciding we didn't want any of the ones on the front lot, Benjamin came with the keys to the two we had seen on the website and let my wife drive one of the front lot Patriots around back to their rear lot. We sat in both, looked them over very well and took test rides in both. Compared them. It was my wife's vehicle by far, so I let her make the final decision between the two. The test ride in the Sport model w/ 4WD was more comfortable and smooth than the ride in the Latitude X model w/ 4WD. Not sure why. Latitude X had all the accessories including options and packages, but we still went with the Sport. Color was also a factor, the brilliant black is quite impressive. Benjamin was a trooper and was not pushy about the sale. We were probably not the easiest of customers since we are kinda picky! Although us having been regular customers in other departments probably made it much easier on their sale since they didn't need to take us around too much. Each of his co-workers in other departments were also great and very supportive while not being pushy or overbearing. We also came somewhat prepared with a lot of information, blue book values and financing options (somewhat). I highly recommend this dealership over the past few I've been involved with. I even found Safford of Fredericksburg to be better than it's sister one in Warrenton. More
First of all dodge is building outstanding vehicles. We traded in our 07 Lexus rx350 for a 2012 Durango and it is a huge step up in the quality of the ride and cool features. The dealership was very good w traded in our 07 Lexus rx350 for a 2012 Durango and it is a huge step up in the quality of the ride and cool features. The dealership was very good when it came to the price of the vehicle, they had accidentally posted end of year discount price on their website for a 2012 Durango when there should have been no rebates on the 2012, only the 2011. They told us that since we saw the price and asked about it that they would honor that price even if they didn't make any money on the deal. They honored this price and gave us a fair value for our trade in. Ben was a great salesman and answered all our questions. I would look here first for my future vehicles. More

I came to the dealer to 'just see' the new 200 convertible and fell in love! My first visit I came on a Sunday because I wanted to 'look' privately, form an opinion based on what I saw and what I convertible and fell in love! My first visit I came on a Sunday because I wanted to 'look' privately, form an opinion based on what I saw and what I had researched online. To me the decision was simple a classy, but fun convertible. My family was a harder sell. They appreciated that I wanted to go 'top-less' but my four teenagers in-visioned that as a Jeep Wrangler not a sedan. I went back to the dealer with my husband (just to drop his SRT Charger off for service) and pulled him to the 200 to take a look. At 8:15 in the morning Ben was already at work and was fabulous. He walked us through the car thoroughly answered our questions then politely asked if we would like to take it for a ride. No pressure, no tagging along. Just filled out the appropriate paperwork and sent us on our way. We both really enjoyed the drive but wanted to satisfy family needs as well. We explained our dilemma to Ben (200 vs Wrangler) and he acknowledged what a big decision we had to make and how the vehicles were polar opposites. NO PRESSURE, he told us to think it over, talk to the family and maybe bring a couple of the kids by when it was convenient so that we could all sit, ride and play in all the vehicles we were considering. So I did. Brought my 14 and 16 year old children, they ran to the Wranglers! Then joined me at the 200 and pretended to like it. we took it home so the rest of the family could see it and I drove them around the neighborhood so that they could get a feel for the comfort and luxury. They were very sweet and said 'it's perfect for you. Can we test drive a Jeep now?' long story short... Ben walked us through 4 vehicles that day. Tops up and down, tags on and off... I was very close to selecting the Wrangler Unlimited, it was fun and rugged and the kids loved it. I went back to the dealer alone to have Ben work the numbers. He was with another client so I told him to take his time and I would 'play' with the Jeep a little longer. I decided to put the top up to test my memory of what Ben had just taught me an hour earlier. I couldn't do it. It was too tall and the top was too heavy for me to operate it alone. When Ben joined me a few minutes later I asked him to work the numbers on the 200. One finger does it all! I went home to finish preparing for a dinner party I had planned. The next morning I got a call from Ben 'so, how was your dinner party?' Personal touches and considerations were abundant! I love this guy! At that time we were close on the numbers but not there yet. He went to his managers to negotiate on our behalf and an hour or so later called back and said 'congratulations! Come get your new car!' he got us where we needed to be... and the love story of me and my 200 has just begun! Thanks Ben!!!!! More
I was so impressed with Safford Dodge. As an international customer I gave a verbal commitment to taking a couple of vehicles offered to me by the dealership. Unfortunately a last minute change international customer I gave a verbal commitment to taking a couple of vehicles offered to me by the dealership. Unfortunately a last minute change of circumstances prevented me from taking my committment forward. Whilst I felt terrible (The dealership having expended so much time with my family) I was not made to feel unduly uncomfortable when I ultimately had to step back from the agreed deal. This reflects very well indeed upon those at the dealership but particularly upon Ben Clark who had given up the time. I'd make a point in dealing with Safford Dodge/Chrysler in the future. Thank You. More
I had such a great experience with Safford Jeep purchasing a Wrangler in December 2010 - I bought another one in August 2011. The best thing I can say is they work fast, are professional, and delivered my vehicles (to my home)on very short notice - same day. Troy was fantastic in getting all the paperwork done in such a short time and was always available for questions. I have Jeep dealerships closer to my home but choose to use Safford instead. Troy should get a raise for pulling off getting my Jeep delivered the same day! v/r John More

We purchased a new Jeep Patriott at Safford, and were very pleased with the excellent service we received. The sales representative was very knowledgeable and addressed all of our questions. He showed very pleased with the excellent service we received. The sales representative was very knowledgeable and addressed all of our questions. He showed us several vehicles and allowed us plenty of time to test and compare them without any pressure. He and his manager were able to negotiate a good price for the car we selected and gave us a very fair trade-in value for our old car. We also had a positive experience with the customer service and financing representave, who gave us a very competitive interest rate and handled the sale efficiently. We have had our new Jeep for a few days now and are very satisfied with it. We will return to Safford for our next car purchase. More
Well I would like to say that I was very angry and disappointed with the service that I had received back in early July 2011. I unfortunantly ran into Larry who was the sales rep. He had a very bad at disappointed with the service that I had received back in early July 2011. I unfortunantly ran into Larry who was the sales rep. He had a very bad attitude that really needs some adjusting and amongst everything else he kept giving me the runaround about what kind of vehicle he could put me in which i found to be a bunch of BS. He only brought out 2 used vehicles an 08 toyota camry and an 07 jeep liberty both with outrageous miles and for the price he was asking for them, was the same price i could have gotten for a brand new vehicle. He then tried to tell me that thats all the banks would finace which was bogus. No bank is going to finance anyone for a used vehicle over a certaina mount of miles and they want the car to last the just as long as the loan....I didnt get to experience a caring rep, maybe my experience would have been alot better, but Larry really needs to get replaced. And to top things off I ended up going about an hour down route 1 north and walked with a Brand New 2011 Kia Forte EX one week later!!!! More
