THE BEST DEALERSHIP EVER! I've purchased Dodge and Chrysler vehicles most of my life and have found them to be excellent vehicles. The service departments and staff were not! My truck had a problem on a return trip from West Virginia to Myrtle Beach and I lost all of my dash electronics and my wipers, during a snowstorm, while traveling south on I-95. I remembered where the Dodge dealership was located in Fredericksburg and made it there with my truck. I explained my problem to Chris Atchision who immediately took my truck into the service area and with a few minutes his mechanics had diagnosed the problem. They not only found the problem but they fixed it and had me back on the road within 2 hours. I had also had a problem with my heater when I was in WV and my son was able to remove the broken part and it was lying on the floorboard so that I could get it fixed when I got home. Shawn saw it, knew what it was by sight, explained what had happened inside the heater box, and then took me around to the parts department where I obtained the correct part to fix the problem. Shawn was ready to take his time to go ahead and fix it then but I chose to get back on the road so that I could get ahead of the storm. My fortunate stop at Safford Dodge had renewed my faith in Dealership Service Departments. Safford has the most caring, dedicated, and knowledgeable group of employees I have ever met. Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep all need to take a look at how this entire staff performs their jobs and copy that thoughout their dealerships. They are the model of how a customer, no matter where they live or where they purchased their vehicle, should be treated!!!!!! Thank you everyone at Safford! More

Dishonest Dealings, Poor Customer Service I had gone in on a Saturday to look at a very nice, used Jeep Wrangler that was priced very reasonably. The Jeep itself was in excellent condition and I had gone in on a Saturday to look at a very nice, used Jeep Wrangler that was priced very reasonably. The Jeep itself was in excellent condition and the salesman that I personally dealt with was helpful although he seemed a tad inexperienced. After spending well over an hour wrangling over the price that I was to pay and a minor issue that needed to be corrected on the Jeep I let the salesman know that I wanted to think about the deal overnight and not rush too quickly into making a decision. He was very accommodating and even offered to let me drive the Jeep home that night while I debated the merits of this purchase. I declined this generous offer and his last request to me was to speak with the used car sales manager before I left to let him know what I was doing. This individual seemed pleasant enough as I chatted with him about my decision and we shook hands before I left. The next day while at work I called the salesman and asked if there was any movement on my last price offer and he placed me on hold while he went to check with the manager. When he came back to the phone he told me "not to kill the messenger" but the used car sales manager had pulled the previous offer from the table! I could not believe this as the manager said nothing to me the prior evening, when I had spoken with him, about the offer expiring at the close of business and if I left it would be rescinded! Needless to say I was pretty upset at being treated this way, it was, in my opinion, unprofessional and a very poor example of customer service. I will not be going back to this dealer if this is how they treat their prospective customers, especially their new ones! More

Shysters Don't believe the offers they send out and call you about. They are just tricky gimmicks to get you into there shop. I am elated to say that Bob was able to do exactly what he said he was going to do, and that was get me in a Jeep! The entire experience was friendly, I did not get the run around, everything was fast and efficient. Brian in Finance was great as well! Everyone was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles! I have bought several cars from other dealerships and this was BY FAR the best experience I 've had. I have already shared my excitement with family and friends! What happened to qualified technicians who don't have to rely on hooking up your vehicle to a computer to find "the problem." Computers are not able to detect minor flaws, issues, and concerns your clients have. Especially with a brand new 2014 truck that shouldn't be making any rumbles or ticks. Got advice, not all fixes are going to be made or found through your USB ports and computers hooked up to the cars computer. Why not be humble and be empathetic towards clients who are stressed over these matters and not make them feel dumb, inferior, or not worth your time. Paying good money for a new vehicle, full warranty, and all perks should get you at least some service with a smile and consideration. Didn't even offer a free oil change or car wash? Really? Makes me want to trade my new 2014 in for a Ford, or Toyota with a better Auto group who I KNOW will give me the service I want and work with me. Had great expectations when I started, but in the few months I have owned my vehicle I feel I have made a huge mistake and regret the choice I made in Safford Auto Group. More
