As a Latina woman, I normally feel very nervous walking into car dealerships and to be honest I usually dislike the whole dealership experience. In the past I have not always been treated with the respect and professionalism I expected — although I want to clarify those experiences were not at Honda dealerships. This was actually my first time stepping into a Honda dealership, and I wish I had done it much earlier. My experience at Safford Honda Arlington completely changed that. My salesperson, Yousuf Mahmoud, treated me with genuine respect, patience, and professionalism from the moment I arrived. I originally stopped by just out of curiosity because I had recently purchased a 2023 Honda CR-V from CarMax and was still within the return window. I simply wanted to compare the price of the same model but brand new. Yousuf never made me feel like I was wasting his time. He encouraged me to see the car and take a test drive, answered all my questions, and the team was open to having a fair and transparent negotiation. In the end, I left with a brand-new 2026 Honda CR-V EX-L, and I couldn’t be happier with both the car and the experience. If you’re looking for a dealership that truly treats customers with honesty and respect, I highly recommend Safford Honda Arlington and working with Yousuf Mahmoud. More
Just found evidence that they have been ripping me off for service for two years. Every time I told them I had free service on my new vehicle, they claimed otherwise. Clayton Peyton was the sales representative we worked with throughout most of the day, and we would give him and his direct sales manager on a floor a 4.5 star rating. Unfortunately, our rating went dow with throughout most of the day, and we would give him and his direct sales manager on a floor a 4.5 star rating. Unfortunately, our rating went down to 1 star based on the overall experience and specifically dealing with Allaith Althiabat, F&I Manager. Throughout the day, Clayton and his direct sales manager on the floor, whose name we did not get, were understanding to what we were looking for as well as our budget. Clayton listened to us and answered every question we had. He and his manager worked to get us a price we were comfortable with and we decided to accept their offer, which included all maintenance for the duration of the lease (3 years). It was when we were in the final signing stages with Allaith Althiabat, the F&I Manager, that things went downhill. He tried to renegotiate almost every aspect of the terms we had reached with the floor sales team and claimed that they couldn't offer maintenance that the floor team agreed to. We ultimately ended up with a monthly payment $30 higher than was initially agreed upon. We were unhappy with the change in price, and in the way that it was presented. Allaith was not understanding, was very condescending, and it came across as if he was trying to recoup discounts in other deceptive ways. Ultimately, we decided that because we liked the car so much we would go ahead an pay the additional $30/month. After the sale, we recalculated the monthly payment increase, the difference exceeds the additional price for the standard maintenance package. We are also finding discrepancies in the contract. The price of the vehicle does not match what Safford Brown is saying is owed at the end of the lease. The end of lease price far exceeds what should be owed on the car after the duration of the lease. The final stage of this process has left a poor impression of this dealership. When we have to buy our next car, we will not be returning. We only hope that the maintenance/service department takes great care of the car throughout the time of our lease. More
Took 8 hours to do an oil change inspection, and a computer update. Said they would do a car wash, the front windshield wasn’t cleaned all streaking. Customer service agents are always friendly, listen to my concerns and advise how they will be addressed. The service is done promptly and agent gives an accurate assessment of how long it will take.
