crhodes11, I am sorry that we did not meet your expecations, I definetly want to get to the bottom of this. We have was/now hanging in our car to provide customers with a low pressure method of viewing the inventory. I wasn't at the store this weekend, would you be willing to email the information to me? chuizinga@brownscar.com I would like to know if you have the worksheet, or the stock number so I can trace this down, any information would be helpful. It is very very unusual for us to have confusion with customers, we pride ourselves on the most transparant process in northern virigina. I am also a bit confused because the processing fee is $389, not 379, which is the same or lower than all the other hyundai dealerships in the area. Thanks for the info, and I am sorry for the situation.

chuizinga, Sorry for the confusion on the processing fee, I just didn't remember it properly. I was in looking at the Sonatas and was quoted a price for the Harbor Gray Metallic Turbo Sonata that was in the showroom. The "Now" tag was listed as 21k and change (I don't remember the exact figure). I was then presented with a quote of over $23k for the car. I was then asked if I was a recent college grad, or active military, or current Hyundai owner. So I then asked the question "So the only way to get the price listed on the tag is to be a recent college grad, active military and previously own a Hyundai?" He responded "yes". I then laughed, said it was absurd, and left. So if the was/now hanging in the car is to provide a low pressure method of viewing the inventory then it should at least reflect the maximum price that anyone would expect to pay. If I walk into a grocery or department store and see a price for something, the expectation is that I will pay that price or something below it. Based on the above I'm sure you would expect that I do not have a work-up sheet or the stock numbers. I left and didn't have any intention of writing a review. One last thing. Please explain to me why the "Was" price is the sticker price (Including freight) and the "Now" price does not include the same charge. That seems very misleading. Thanks for your time.

I read your grocery store analogy, and it does apply, but differently than you mentioned. Grocery stores or discount clubs advertise prices that require a criteria to obtain. Car dealerships advertise in the same manner. We disclose all information to allow the customer to make an informed decision.
