I dropped my car off for routine service and safety inspection and according to the service summary both were done. Two days later I noticed that the safety inspection sticker had not been replaced and inspection and according to the service summary both were done. Two days later I noticed that the safety inspection sticker had not been replaced and expired 10/25. Expired safety inspection is a class 3 misdemeanor and can result in a fine of up to $250. I called the service department. The service representative checked and told me that an inspection had been done but for some reason the sticker was not replaced. He told me to bring the car in and it would only take a few minutes to replace the sticker. Leaving my house at 2:30 I thought this allowed enough time to avoid rush hour. When I arrived, the man at the service desk said he would see if they could generate a sticker. A few minutes later he returned to tell me that despite the fact that the service summary said that a safety inspection had been done, no inspection had actually been done. I could wait while he got someone to do the inspection, I could leave my car, or I could come back another day. Having already wasted nearly an hour, I decided to wait. The inspection took 45 minutes and I left just if time for rush hour. It took me an hour and a half to get home through an unexplained traffic jam, an accident that required a flatbed tow truck, and the usual jam at the beltway. Your error caused me to waste more than three hours. It also taught me not to trust that you have done what you say you have done. By the way, have you ever reviewed the service video that you sent me? The audio is totally unintelligible. You ask me to rate someone in the service department.
