Patrick, I did get your email, but i was not in a mood to respond to it. As a manager i know you do not like hearing bad things about your staff, but the truth is, there are such insensitive people who don't realize their responsibilities being in a customer centric jobs like sales, and have no clue how to react to a customer. We have heard from people before, and we are asked to be as persuasive as you expect your sales people to be, but we did not cross out limits to say something that would hurt anybody. Your manager did not think it was important to give respect to our feelings, and i see it as a short coming from your end where you have chosen an incompetent person to handle a customer centric position. I am sorry to say this, but he represented Browns Sterling that day, and he did not do his job. When i look back at this incident i would still feel bitter, and no matter what damage control you do, its beyond me and this would be my message to people if they ever ask me for an opinion about your showroom. I contacted Nissan of Chantilly, and i specified that i was in no mood to haggle or fight, and they have promised me to give me the same, if not a better deal, and have requested me to come down to their showroom. He even went on to say that people have had similar stories to report about the customer service they have received from Browns. He might say that cos he is a competitor, but it sounds true to me after what i have gone through at your showroom. Your manager has made me think twice before approaching anybody, but i would deal with sales people with more care from now on, cos I am too decent to get into another situation where i would dread to meet people of such low standards and call themselves the boss. My Self Esteem matters to me and i would not give it away to people of no ethics. He said " Good Luck if ever buy a car".
