I went in because my rear window was moving slow to a stop, I figured the motor was dying. Wayne, the tech, called me saying that he had called out for a part number. When i picked up the truck, he said stop, I figured the motor was dying. Wayne, the tech, called me saying that he had called out for a part number. When i picked up the truck, he said they greased it and it worked fine. So there was no part number? Did they even call? $130 for some grease? More

Wayne was fantastic, great steward for the service dept. I was very happy with the personal treatment I received from Wayne, he was cordial and professional. I am however disappointed that on my 30,000 mile I was very happy with the personal treatment I received from Wayne, he was cordial and professional. I am however disappointed that on my 30,000 mile check up, work was done that I don't believe needed to be done. I did agree to have my tires aligned from the 30,000 mile checklist while I had my vehicle in to address a recall. When the analysis came back AFTER the work was completed, there were 2 points that were minimally off on the alignment and I was charged in full for the alignment. I would have expected a call just to inform me of the lack of severity, or the lack of urgency in completing the alignment and allow me to address my own level of risk in choosing to go ahead with the adjustment. I understand that I signed the paperwork prior to leaving the stop and that represents my go ahead... ethically however, I do feel very strongly that Salem Ford is and should be held responsible to educate and inform prior to the completion of work that is in the "not urgent" category and empower the customer to make a purchase decision based on fact. More

Service Call Back Appt on Tuesday Oct 15th radio not sync with station. Service Dept put back to factory settings. Input my info after. Radio worked OK but told if problem comes back would need a new memory card. Problem came back after shutting off car. Called Service Rep (Gina) THREE times and never returned my call. Wed Oct 16th called her 2 time, never called back. Finally talked to Wayne and he agreed to have them look into a memory card on an appt to have GPS system updated on Tuesday 22nd, He could not say a card was in stock My son went there on Tuesday to look at a SUV for his daughter .They saw one but the car shook at 60 miles, so Salesperson said would have it fixed and call my son back. That never happened ...told my son don't buy there. More

When a deal is made and paperwork is signed, it is disheartening to call to find out when you w The staff has very poor communication with each other. When a deal is made and paperwork is signed, it is disheartening to call to find out when you will be picking up your vehicle and have the salesman tell you that in order to pick up the vehicle we need to give them additional money if we want the item completed which was promised by them to fix. I felt like I was dealing with a whole business of dishonest people. Due to this fact, I informed them that our deal with them was null and void and we would not be purchasing the vehicle from them. After this, I would never recommend Salem Ford to anyone to purchase a vehicle. More
