On Friday 10/25 I spoke with Christine in Service department. She was unprofessional and rude the way she assisted with my oil change appointment request. She got frustrated very quick then hung up m department. She was unprofessional and rude the way she assisted with my oil change appointment request. She got frustrated very quick then hung up my phone just like that after several times asked me questions and couldn’t find my account in the system, then I called back right away and a gentleman able to assist me. Thanks god I got her name in first place. She made company look bad with her unprofessional behavior in my opinion. I prefer to look other GMC dealership who can provide better and professional services because good services will always bring customer comeback again and again and again and importantly referral to others as well More

Hands down, the best customer service I have ever experienced at a dealer. The service writer was great, and kept me updated on the status of my car. The concierge was a delight to deal with too. I had to leave my car with them, but they were so kind to offer complimentary Alto ride both from and back to the dealership. I will definitely bring my car back for service in the future! More
My car had problems with the driver side door not unlocking so I went to the Santa Monica Dealership. After paying $200, the diagnosis was that the "entire door locking mechanism had to be replaced unlocking so I went to the Santa Monica Dealership. After paying $200, the diagnosis was that the "entire door locking mechanism had to be replaced at a cost of $1350". This included $750 for parts and the balance for labor at a cost of $279/hr. Since the door was still working intermittently, I decided not to it fixed at the time. When the door lock stopped working completely, I again called the dealer. Scott, supposedly the manager, said that they would "have to charge for another diagnostic fee of $279 because the first one was done some months ago". When I protested (after all nothing had changed with the car), he backed off but said they would "not apply my initial $200 fee" to the upcoming repair. THis was in total contradiction to what I was initially told (and is the normal policy ). So I left. In the mean time, I watched a couple you tube videos which suggested that the problem might simply be that the door lock pressure PAD needed to be replaced. I immediately ordered it from Amazon and replaced the part. Do you know what this cost?! The part was only $20 and I did not charge for my labor of 20 minutes to install!! The "technician" would have seen the problem in 5 MINUTES and would have spent minutes ..not HOURS to replace a $20 part. More

Horrible service, went to Santa Monica Buick from the valley in traffic, waited 6 hours and all they did was oil change for $250. We had a list of items we asked to be checked and a recall that needed t valley in traffic, waited 6 hours and all they did was oil change for $250. We had a list of items we asked to be checked and a recall that needed to be addressed. Nothing was done! We came back to the dealer at the 6th hour, waited an additional 30 minutes for the oil change to be completed. We left a message for the general manager with our concern and did not even receive a call back. Will never be going back to Santa Monica Buick or recommending anyone to go there ever again. More
