I am so disappointed. I feel very disappointed with my experience at Haasz Automall of Dalton. I feel misled, lied to and that my time was wasted. I am very busy and live I feel very disappointed with my experience at Haasz Automall of Dalton. I feel misled, lied to and that my time was wasted. I am very busy and live an hour and half away. I first contacted Haasz of Dalton to see if they could transfer a vehicle up to Haasz of Ravenna for us to see. You see we bought our new 2010 Town & Country from Haasz of Ravenna, but because they did not have any in stock this time I decided to look at their Dalton location. They told me they could, but because it was costly to do so, it would probably be better if I visit the store in Dalton to look at the vehicle. Being an hour and half away (actually the gps says 1 hour 20 minutes) although apprehensive and inconvenient we decided to make the trip. We have several family members in Massillon so we decided to come over and see them. Since we had to make the trip I decided to look at other car dealers that might be in the area for a similar vehicle. We found that Progressive had an almost identical vehicle (color exact and every feature) listed for $900 less, and we made an appointment to look at the vehicle. I called Haasz back and was told that I should come and look at the vehicle on Tuesday 4/21/2015 after I went to Progressive because the representative at Haasz said they were competitive and would price match as long as it was an apples to apples comparison. I told them that I didn’t know that they price matched, but because of that I decided I would definitely go to Haasz of Dalton. I kept my appointment at Progressive and found the vehicle was exactly like the one we were going to see at Haasz. The mileage even after our test drive was only about 800 miles difference. Progressive acted like they wanted our business and they said they would drop the price. I told them I made a commitment to go to look at a vehicle and even had to tell them that I understood that if I left that they might not be able to honor the price if I came back and that I realized the vehicle could be gone if I came back. I then left and came to Haasz and asked for the salesperson I was communicating with because it said it her email, (Please ask for me at the reception desk when you arrive; I will have the vehicle you wish to see ready for you and I will be able to help you with any questions you may have at that time.) Apparently, that is not the case, because as soon as I came in I was handed off to another salesperson. While there I found out that the service department had two people that I was used to dealing with at the Ravenna Haasz. I went over and said hello to them. We test drove their vehicle and liked it just as much as the one at Progressive and probably even cleaner then theirs and it had about 800 miles less miles so we decided to get it. We showed the salesperson our price from Progressive and it was about less than a minute he came back and said no. No other offer. No price match. No negotiation. Just no. So we got up and left and went to Progressive and bought their vehicle. I emailed them a copy of the receipt from Progressive. I felt that my time at Haasz was wasted. I am asking that they please do not mislead the customers like this. This has left a very negative impression in our minds of Haasz. I doubt I can recommend them again and wonder if I will ever purchase a vehicle with them again. I am asked in my position my recommendations on things and doubt if I ever could recommend Haasz. I have several relatives family and even friends in the area of Haasz Automall of Dalton and will most likely share this experience with them. You see I don't buy a car every year and I need to find someone that says what they mean and means what they say. More
