DealerRater, This is in regards to the email listed below; Please note I am the new Service Manager and this RO started prior to my employment, I was here when the customer came in on the 2nd visit. The customer brought the vehicle in for service on August 31st 2015 stating that the vehicle was hesitating and the check engine light was on. We inspected the vehicle and found that the vehicle had two DTC’S - P0420 & P0430. After that diagnosis the tech replaced both Cat converters as instructed. Customer also stated that the vehicle was running HOT and customer states they found coolant on the garage floor at home. Our tech found that the customer had in-correct coolant in radiator and it had been punctured. The concern regarding the cracked windshield was noted on the RO from the previous Service Manager in his own writing in the lower right corner of the actual ticket. This was all noted during the first visit and the vehicle was picked up by one of his employees. Note: the customer refused all work listed above that we found wrong other than the warranty work needed. A few days later (2nd visit) the customer returned from vacation and brought the vehicle back and started claiming more issues with the vehicle. The customer brought to our attention that the front hood and fenders do not line up and claiming that’s how it came from the factory. After further inspection from our team it looked altered and we noticed that both front tires had been replaced with aftermarket tires. We pulled the vehicle up on a rack and removed the lower covers to inspect it with the customer present and showed the customer that the radiator had a puncture through the lower area from something passing through the front louvers. Customer refused to replace the radiator unless it was under warranty. We tried to accommodate the customer by offering to replace the windshield for the dealers cost even though we didn’t damage the windshield, he refused saying he could purchase it less expensive elsewhere. The customer also stated that the vehicle wasn’t cleaned to his approval and made accusations that we destroyed his interior by smoking and burning the right inside passenger door handle, all while he was smoking during his accusations. We did agree that the vehicle wasn’t as clean as it should have been and re cleaned it. We wanted to accommodate the customer as much as possible and he refused every option we offered. The customer was out in the Service drive being disrespectful to our entire team yelling and pointing his fingers at everyone, he even threatened myself and implied he knows people. Very nice ..good try ...I did not complain about the work they did on the car ..actually replace parts that was a recall from the lincoln company...I did not threaten nobody ..I just simply said that I will do police report and give the reviews that they deserve...when I asked about the paper for the 360 ' inspection when I dropped the car at the dealer they said the guy no longer working with them and the paper it is not available ...they wrote on the bottom of working sheet ( possible when I complain about the windshield )..with a pen of different color and different writing ..broken windshield ...when I said about the dirty car they offerd to clean it ..they bring it back still with the stain and damage leather and claim ..that's all we can do ...PS ..not their business what tires I am using on my car ..has nothing to do with ...has no relevance to my complain ...
