After walking the lot for 15 minutes we were approached by salesman Hiep Luong. After a brief very informal conversation we let Hiep take us for a ride in a Honda Civic Sedan and we loved it! It drove extremely well, looked great, and had a lot of extras. Actually we were surprised how nice it was and the price was in my range. He explained everything about the car and knew the answers to all of our questions. We were very impressed at how well he knew his job and his no push approach. We were very comfortable and relaxed as we worked the deal! After getting our numbers the paperwork was sent to Rob Hannigan in finance. There was a issue or two on my credit and Rob made it happen. He was great at explaining the process and is a true professional. He cares about his customers and we appreciate his hard work getting me my Civic. I first viewed the car while it was in one of their service bays going through the certification process. Third Honda Dealership we tried We went to three Honda dealerships trying to lease a Fit at the price that was advertised online for the Labor Day weekend sale. We walked in, said, We went to three Honda dealerships trying to lease a Fit at the price that was advertised online for the Labor Day weekend sale. We walked in, said, "We want to lease a Fit at this advertised price," and were generally met with blank looks and b-s explanations as to why the advertised price was not available. At Scott Honda, the first offer we were given was not the advertised price (same as with the other dealerships), but when we showed our salesperson, Candace Carney, the ad, she went back to the business office and came back with the exact price we wanted. I'm guessing that any dealership will highball the first offer, but this was the first one where they actually stood behind their printed advertisement. Candice was very friendly. I tend to feel that I'm being screwed out of something whenever I walk into any dealership, but I really got the impression that Candice was interested in coming to a mutually beneficial arrangement, rather than milking us for every last penny. I appreciate that a lot. More
