Overall a great experience. This was our first new car purchase and we worked with Rob and had a wonderful experience. About a month before visited Town and Country Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep, we visited Ford of Kirkland to test drive the 2012 Ford Explorer. We really liked how the car looked, the full length moon roof Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep, we visited Ford of Kirkland to test drive the 2012 Ford Explorer. We really liked how the car looked, the full length moon roof, and decent mileage for a 3 row SUV. The dealership reluctantly let us test drive a Ford Explorer and gave it to us with an empty tank. I really couldn't push the car accelerating gingerly and praying that I could make it to next exit on the highway to turn around. Upon returning to the dealership they immediately asked if we were ready to sign. While put off, we still politely informed them we were still comparing cars. They told us to come back when we're serious. We made certain to never come back. While the Chrysler/Dodge reputation has not been the greatest, particularly with the 2009 Dodge Durangos-- the Dodge Durango has gotten good reviews (better than the Ford Explorer) in terms of handling, stopping, and towing so we wanted to check it out for ourselves. When we first walked into Town and Country Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep, we had no intention of purchasing a car. We had been investigating replacing our current Pontiac G8 GT with a car with a little more cargo and kid capacity, but the kids were still well over a year away so we had no pressing need. Prior to this we had taken a look at the Ford Explorer, Nissan Pathfinder, Infinity Fx50, GMC Acadia Denali, Cadillac CTS Sports Wagon, and a bunch of used Infinity/Lexus SUVs. None of those cars really clicked and most had piss poor handling, stopping, towing, and AWD systems (exception the Cadillac CTS V Sports Wagon ~ 70K+). From the moment we walked in the door we were pleasantly surprised. The dealership employees (John, Trevor, and the sales manager) were really helpful and let us test drive the cars for as long as necessary. All the cars we test drove had full tanks (it is so annoying when dealerships give you a V8 SUV to test drive with 1/16 of a tank left). They even let us drive the car home to make sure it fit in the garage and let us keep it overnight (with a full tank of gas). We actually had another couple to pick up from the airport who showed up with SIX bags and we were all able to comfortably fit in the car. John and Trevor were very reasonable during negotiations and met us half way or more on all of our requests. We got a more than fair price on our trade in and even after three days of negotiating they never went overboard with a hard sell and gave us the time and space to get comfortable with the idea of spending 50K on a brand new car (first time as this price for us). If they had tried to insist on signing the second night, we wouldn't have bought the car. In the end we purchased a fully loaded Citadel with the lifetime warranty. They surprised us by delivering the car the day we signed and John took the time to explain every little feature before we left the dealership. He also paired our phones and configured all the features such as blind spot detection, collision warning, and adaptive cruise. At this point, I've been to a lot of dealerships and seen all the nonsense they try to pull. The dedication to customer service, the absence of excessive hard selling, and reasonableness during negotiations earned them two new fans. If we buy any new cars, it will be a Dodge and it will be from Town & Country (unless they forget what makes them excellent). Our new car has been great. We got the color we loved and during the really bad snowstorm this year we were able to get around no problem (we had to engage to the 4 LOW gear to get up our unplowed street). We literally managed to drive up sheets of ice in Ballard in this beast and had fantastic traction on the stock all-season tires. We commute using bus/bike to work so we only have to fill up once every 2 to 3 weeks when we take a long trip, but we save a bunch of money being able to drive over the pass instead of driving. The adaptive cruise control and blind spot detection are a must in a car this size. Additionally, the heated steering wheel and seats the turn on automatically are a very nice touch. The only warning I have is that the roof rails are locked in position so the Thule Atlantis 1600XT is the biggest box you can put on top without squashing the antenna. However, with a Class IV tow hitch you can easily stick a ski/snowboard carrier. More

I was a firm believer in Dave Smith in Idaho, but the customer service i got at town and country and how simple the process was I'm very pleased. More

I reviewed the deal when it occurred, over a month ago, then an issue came to bear- a very serious vehicle issue. We talked back and forth, I was concerned where this issue would leave us in the end. Both John AND Trevor assured us "Do not worry, we will make sure you are 100% happy". Words are easy, actions are sometimes hard. These guys stood behind their product and their word. My Wife and I revisited the dealership this evening and we are two VERY happy customers. I cannot state enough how good their customer service is nor just how far they will go to stand behind their word. I will send any and everyone I know to them, these guys are awesome. As soon as my husband, son and I walked into the dealership, we were immediately greeted. As my husband took my son to play with the toys, I explained what I was looking for. John Martin was introduced to me and I was told he was "the man to talk to" and I would be taken care of. He listened to what I was looking for in a Jeep Grand Cherokee and immediately went and looked into his inventory. John must have brought out 4 or 5 Cherokee's for me to test drive. Other lots we went to had us walk around the lot with them while it was freezing out instead of bringing the cars to us. As I was test driving all of them, he was able to answer any and all questions my husband or I had without any heistation, by far the most knowledgeable and professional sales man I have ever met. Each time we went back inside, he offered us water, coffee, cider, etc and let my 4 1/2 yr old son bring the toys to his desk. We chose 2 we were interested in and he immediately went to work to see what deal could be made, again in a very professional manner. We finally decided on one and began "the negotiation" process which again was very easy and professional. I appreciated the fact we were only dealing with John and the finance manager wasn't brought out to make the deal with. After going back and forth maybe a handful of times, we came to an agreement and decided to purchase the vehicle. In the meantime, my husband took my son to grab some quick dinner and brought it back to the dealership, he didn't have to but John let my son eat on his desk and not at any time seem annoyed by my 4 1/2 year old. While the papers were being drawn up I was talking to John and he informed me that he usually does not sell used vehicles, he mainly deals with the new inventory. The vehicle we purchased, was one he originally sold and took back as a trade in. He had provided me with all the history on the car before I even had to request it. This was as easy as it comes when purchasing a vehicle, John Martin was professional, friendly, he listened to my preferences and as I stated before as knowledgeable as they come. The dealership as a whole was very welcoming and receptive of my families needs. Not at any point did my husband or I feel pressured into purchasing a car that night or into a deal we were not 100% comfortable with. I would without a doubt recommend this dealership to anyone who was looking for a car. This without a doubt is why I am rating this dealership a 5 all the way around! More

Our Experience with Seattle: A++, our experience with the overall process (other dealerships, Dodge) (F--). We initially wanted a fully loaded 2011 Dodge Durange Citadel. I mean loaded. It had to have eve overall process (other dealerships, Dodge) (F--). We initially wanted a fully loaded 2011 Dodge Durange Citadel. I mean loaded. It had to have everything. I was lead to believe by the Bellevue Dealership and Dodge Online that the one I was getting did have it. It did not. I found out, after I rolled out that it was actually the wrong Stereo (430, not 730) and yes it's a big deal. We actually ended up working with Seattle to help resolve the issue. Dodge would do nothing about it and we have filed a complaint with the BBB. My wife took in my brand new (about a month old) Durango and while they were putting on the plates talked to John about the situation. Now we actually had talked to several other people, who were not able to help us and one person, who actually never got back to me on this. So although I am rating a 5, it is due to John and their overall help, but there was a little lack of follow through by one of their team members. Anyhoo. My wife worked with John who did what I wanted, got me a fully loaded 2012 instead. We put a little cash out of pocket, our payment was almost identical, they through in the maintenance etc. THe big thing I want to call out though is John Martin. The guy knows the cars, the equipment and how to explain it to people, without talking down to them. I couldn't be more happy with how things turned out. My new (new) car is gorgeous. It rides like a dream, the stereo is exactly what I wanted, and guess what... Thanks to John I actually know how to use it and he even gave us great feedback on suggested settings etc based on how I want to use it. Our experience with John and Seattle has been great. Charles in Finance...Amazing to work with Everything was easy etc. Again the only little downside was that I asked for getting into a 12 2weeks earlier and didn't have follow up on making that happen. John stepped in and took care of it. A++ in my book, and my Durango... Honestly... is amazing... Thanks John so much for your help and support. p.s.
