I do not typically write reviews, As I prefer to avoid a Business’ service if I did not find it satisfactory — however the treatment I received from Seminole Toyota is absolutely unacceptable and ensures I Business’ service if I did not find it satisfactory — however the treatment I received from Seminole Toyota is absolutely unacceptable and ensures I will never do business with them or recommend their services to anyone. Three months after my deal was completed, I received a call from Jake Lowe, a finance manager and he stated that I was keeping money that belonged to him because Toyota’s books came up short and they were going to be taking the difference from his paycheck. On his second call to me, he raised his voice to me aggressively, called me a f*%king dirt bag a few times to ensure I could not get a word in to understand the situation, and then hung up the phone on me. I then received a text from him threatening legal action and that “he promised this would all get worked out”. This was coming up three months after I purchased my vehicle, it came out of the blue, and I had no idea what was going on. When I tried to contact the dealership to get additional information, I only received voicemail after voicemail and was unable to get anywhere to try to understand why I was being harassed and what Mr. Lowe was actually trying to contact me about. This is just a small detail in the much larger mess of the horrible customer service experience I received from this dealership. I highly suggest taking your business elsewhere and/or if you do chose to go here, BUYER BEWARE is an understatement — they are highly dishonest and practice every manipulative auto sales tactic in the book from holding your keys, to Extended Service Warranty Sales in exchange for the lower more desirable interest rate, to not providing all of your paper work at times of sale (registration/odometer disclosures), to not properly disclosing information regarding details of your trade, deal, and contract. Make sure you read and double check EVERYTHING. Once they have your money and a signed contract, you will not be able to get assistance from anyone unless you show up at their dealership, and if they make a mistake on anything — the responsibility will fall entirely on you to correct because they do a great job protecting themselves. Oh, and you might also have the pleasure of being belittled and verbally assaulted at random. More
