Not a good experience I went to David Maus Toyota look at a Tacoma. At first, my salesman John McCain was OK, as was his manager, Johnny. Told them I was shopping and wou I went to David Maus Toyota look at a Tacoma. At first, my salesman John McCain was OK, as was his manager, Johnny. Told them I was shopping and would not buy that day. Of course their job is to get me to do just that. I did drive a TRD 4x4 and felt they tried to get me a good price, but it was still out of what I set to spend as I really wasn't shopping a 4x4. Later, I get a text at 5:39PM that his boss "gave us a incentive for today only" on what I drove. Really?? Today only and I don't get the message til almost 6 in the evening! I told them I was in sales and NOT to use sales tactics on me, hate that! ugh. I later get a text saying they have a TRD, 2015, for only $23k, 11K miles. This is below what any other comparable truck would go for so I asked for more info and the CarFax. NEVER got it, so must be just another ploy. They had already lost my trust by now anyway. Then I tried to get my finance rate over the phone or on line. Well, no go, the phone system was out. Another Toyota dealership did it on line for me. Just another tactic to get me in there. I really don't have time for that, Parks Deland Toyota worked well with me and my schedule and I ended up getting a Tacoma from Bruce there. UPDATE: Just let John McCain know I purchased elsewhere since he never sent me info on the truck he claimed to have. Got a very unprofessional response back calling me a liar for not purchasing when he met my figure. First off, he didn't meet it. Second, he sends a text 2 days later with a figure that is close. All along, he knew I was out shopping and they had been my first stop. They didn't really have what I was looking for. I was entertaining going over my budget for the 4x4, but still, it was too high. 2 days later they can get it within reach, but too late, I had already driven a better deal and now I'm getting texts from my salesman calling me a liar and disrespectful "wasting their time". Being in sales all my life, all I say is, I'm glad I had already moved on, wouldn't want to keep dealing with John. More

Quality and service above the rest Upon arrival I was quickly and politely greeted by Luis. I was hesitant in receiving help at first, because I wanted to first look at the cars on the Upon arrival I was quickly and politely greeted by Luis. Afterwards Luis came back to check on me and answered all my questions very detailed and with lots of knowledge. He took care of me and made me feel like I could trust him to negotiate the things that I was looking for and, in fact, made sure I had certain things in my package that I didn't even know I would need but am so glad I do now. Overall an excellent experience with service area I came to this location originally for general servicing and had an excellent experience; then I had a car accident and dealt with the collision repai I came to this location originally for general servicing and had an excellent experience; then I had a car accident and dealt with the collision repair side of things about 6 mo back. The collision repair side of things seemed a bit scattered overall (example: they had no clue where my paperwork was when I arrived for my scheduled appointment, and it was sitting unlabeled on the receptionist desk), and although the job got done well it seemed like a lot more hassle than it was worth. I thusly stopped coming to this location until a few days ago when I returned again for servicing. I dealt with Val as my representative and he was very kind, organized, and knowledgeable. For this reason, I will be returning for regular maintenance and will give the facility a 5 star rating. Thank you, Val! More
