Amazing Experience I was not in the market to buy a car when I brought mine in for a diagnostic due to unfamiliar sounds coming from under the hood. The result was if I paid for the repair, I would have spent more money this year on repairs than the car was worth. So, I took a walk out to the used car lot, and saw two potential vehicles I thought might suit my needs. When I waked back inside, I met Ahmed, a very nice gentleman, who asked if he could help. After we reviewed the details of the two cars chosen, I decided to do a little more research on my own. The next day, I came back with some other choices and Ahmed patiently and expertly showed me what I wanted to see. I narrowed the choice to one, and we went for a test-drive. I was pleasantly surprised with the depth of knowledge and familiarity of the model Ahmed displayed (especially given that he had only been with the dealership 3-4 months). His training on the product had been very thorough, and his demeanor through the entire buying process was professionally pleasant. I drove away in my new car, pleased with the deal I received, knowing once again I could continue to highly recommend David Maus Toyota to my friends and colleagues. Lied about completing safety inspection. Wipers don’t work. I bought a used car from David Maus Toyota because I thought they had a good reputation. I could have gotten a cheaper used car for my 17 year old son I bought a used car from David Maus Toyota because I thought they had a good reputation. I could have gotten a cheaper used car for my 17 year old son at a corner used car lot but we spent more (10,000) to get a decent used car at a reputable dealership. I was told a safety inspection was completed. This should in the least include making sure the wind shield wipers work. The tires should also be safe. My son found out the wind shield wiper did not work in the middle of a rain storm. The tires were also dry rotted and as soon as he started driving on them they began to split. To make matters worse when I went to get new tires at a tire place they could not remove them because David Maus sold the car without the key to unlock the tires. The used sales manager was so rude he was not willing to take any responsibility and even suggested that my son lost the key. They would not fix the wind shield wipers since I bought the car used. Beware buying a car from David Maus. They do not care about their customers or the product they sell or they would not be putting unsafe vehicles on the road and almost killing my son. More
