From an experienced car buyer - best experience, by far I've purchased 11 new cars in the past 35 years and I always try to shop 3 dealers. I could tell David Maus Toyota was different when I spoke with Cyr I've purchased 11 new cars in the past 35 years and I always try to shop 3 dealers. I could tell David Maus Toyota was different when I spoke with Cyril (salesman) and Johnny (sales manager). They treated me with respect, were very eager (in a good way) to sell me the 4Runner TRD Off Road. They never made me feel like I was just "another customer" or just a "deal" for them. I narrowed the dealerships down to 2, the first being a dealership 5 miles from my home and David Maus, which is 2 hours away from home. Based on how I was treated by Cyril and Johnny, I decided to drive the 2 hours to potentially buy the car. I had already been in the local dealership. When I got there, we negotiated a bit and settled on a very competitive price; I let them know that I was certainly willing to walk away that day without a new car. I'm not the easiest buyer, but that didn't matter to them. They (Joe and Cyril) really bent over backwards to accommodate a couple of unusual requests I had. I was treated like a friend throughout the whole experience. Not being new to buying new cars, I could tell Cyril and Johnny were different. After I wrote the check, Cyril spent 2 hours with me going over all the features of the vehicle; he didn't have to do that, but it shows how David Maus Toyota is different. He didn't shove me out the door to go on to the next sale. I've been in sales before and I'm not naive when it comes to sales practices and tricks. I have never seen the kind of customer care that Cyril and Johnny gave me in my 35 years of business! A couple of days after I drove the vehicle home, both Cyril and Johnny called me to ask if I had any questions about the vehicle and to make sure everything was up to my satisfaction. I'm sure if I had any issues, they would take care of it. And I wasn't a potential buyer at that point. The staff at David Maus Toyota almost makes me wish I would purchase cars more often, because of the unexpectedly superior experience with them. Next time I'm in the market for a Toyota, I'll drive however far I have to to buy a vehicle from them. More
