We inquired with virtually every dealership in the Orlando area through email, looking for a new truck. Mark Dalton not only was the only person from any dealer who answered our questions. We were happy with his email customer service, we picked out a truck through their online inventory and he had it pulled up and ready for us when we showed up. He was very knowledgeable about the truck and was fun to be around. The great customer service didn't stop there, every employee greeted us and had smiles on their faces. My 6year old son had a dolphins Jersey on and alot of employees let him know David Maus was also a fan. Finance guys were friendly and great. We were also very impressed with how they deliver the vehicle to us after financing. It was in an air conditioned garage so we can look over the beautiful Tacoma and make sure there no imperfections. Mark even went over all the features again to make sure we knew how our new truck works. We loved our experience and will be David Maus customers again! More

My Daughter decided she wanted to buy a new car when the transmission went out on her high mileage 8 year old car. She asked for my help in picking one out. After several hours of Internet Research, we decided to go with the Toyota because of the 60 months Interest Free Financing offer they were running on the Corollas. I asked Several Dealers for their best internet price and received replies from 3 different dealers. David Maus had the best price by over $100 so we went there first. Our Salesman was Michael Santangelo. Once we told him what we wanted, he showed us the models they had available. My daughter liked the silver one so he got the keys and took a test drive with us. She liked it so then we went in to see what kind of deal we could make. Mike went back to his Manager several times on our behalf and we finally agreed on a price. Everything went well in the Finance Department and a short while later she was ready to drive home her new Toyota Corolla. I will have to say, this was one of the most pleasant car buying experiences of my life. All the people that dealt with us at David Maus Toyota were very nice to work with. I know my daughter will be back to David Maus Toyota as she buys more cars in the future. I really appreciate that never once did Mr.Santangelo try to high pressure us and was very patient with me. It was my fourth. I'm not an easy customer and got a great deal. There is little doubt that I will return to see Mark and Tim again. "Whatever it takes" are not just words...these guys mean it! More

Over the past few months, my 2001 Toyota 4-Runner had been having an over-heating issue that was traced to leaking coolant. I learned that what seems to be the solution to that problem is not always so c been having an over-heating issue that was traced to leaking coolant. We replaced radiator, hoses, etc., and the service department, I'm sure, did the necessary steps that should be taken. Regardless, my vehicle was soon diagnosed as having coolant entering into the oil, and was given the death sentence. I was very disappointed, and frankly, upset with the service department for not diagnosing the real issue sooner. My thought was that the vehicle still had a good life to go, which was motivation for me to stay on top of all service needs. My wife and I were not mentally prepared to purchase a new vehicle at this point, and were faced with the need to fill the transportation void, going into a weekend. My service rep, Glenn Nidhan, who I really like, suggested I speak with Shawn Sandiford. My wife and I met with Shawn at the dealership on Saturday evening, with an interest in one of their vehicles that I earlier viewed online. I felt bad for Shawn, as neither my wife, nor I, were in any kind of mood for this meeting. After seeing the car, and taking the test drive, Shawn asked us to have a seat in the showroom while he worked "numbers", taking into account whatever value our vehicle might have. In retrospect, I doubt many could have kept us there through this process, as I am sure we were looking for a reason to blow. He returned with a trade-in value, that I thought was low, and bottom line purchase price that was much more than I wanted to commit to. He asked if we could take just a minute to let him go speak with another gentleman, who we would later meet, Billy Simcox. My wife and I decided to get out of the building and take a walk through the lot. A few minutes later, Shawn brought Billy out to meet us and explain the numbers, particulary the trade-in value placed on our vehicle. Again, Shawn's personality diffused the situation, and kept us on the property. Billy was also terrific. I felt totally disarmed by the approach of these two gentlemen, and really appreciated it. Bottom line, after a little give and take on both sides, my wife and I felt comfortable making the decision to go forward with the cash purchase of the car that evening. We had no intention of doing that when we set the meeting, and didn't even bring our checkbook. FYI - Shawn did follow us to our home that evening (10 PM) to make sure they got the check:) We really appreciate the David Maus dealership priority of 'Whatever It Takes'. His abilty to establish quickly, a deep connecting with a prospect, has me thinking that although I live in another county in FL, I need to find a way to make my purchase from this talented, knowledgable yet truly humble and engaging young man. I am blessed to have run a multi million sales organization myself for thiirty years and would steal him away quickly if I could except he is apparently VERY loyal and attached to his current dealership, which is also quite admirable.
