Seminole Toyota is the worse dealership I know . I bought a pre-owned car there they didn’t even gave me a key. I had to tape the key if not, I won’t be able to used it at all. I am so disappointed. My husband and I had been trying to test drive a car here since it is a closer dealership to us and had good ratings. We have 3 kids and both work so our time is limited! We would call to find out if they had the car in stock and when it finally was available we went to test drive. We liked it and decided to talk numbers and ultimately buy. Once we started to talk numbers it was taking forever, then finally they told us oops the car is already sold. Ok. Huge waste of our time. We were frustrated but we know humans make mistakes so we said no big deal, let us know when you have the next model we are interested in - they didn’t have one coming in so we left our info. Well the sales guy calls the next day saying the car is actually not sold and do we want to come in today. Our schedules were really crazy that day and so my husband tried to talk with him on the phone. He yelled at my husband on the phone for trying to negotiate because our credit was not 1st tier credit, it’s in the good range. We know our interest rate would be a little higher but we didn’t expect the salesman to be so rude about trying to discuss numbers. He didn’t seem to want to make the sale to us, telling my husband, “do you want it or not? You need to come in today” after he explained we are both working and there is no way for us to get there. He acted indifferent and standoffish the day before which we chalked up to personality but then it seems he is just an angry person. I am a nurse, mom of 3 and I work hard and am kind to people no matter what. I see families go through their most vulnerable moments, especially in this pandemic. If that salesman walked into the hospital I would give him the same care I would give my mom. Yet, here I am in my local community trying to get a bigger vehicle for our growing family & my husband and I are treated so unkindly. It’s not a lot to ask or expect. My husband was so floored by how rude he was to him that he just said, no thanks. We are not the type to be nasty back so we moved on. More
