Problem detected after body work A few days after body work had been done on my car I noticed my trunk was no longer closing automatically with the remote- a feature that had worked j A few days after body work had been done on my car I noticed my trunk was no longer closing automatically with the remote- a feature that had worked just fine prior to having body work done at Sheehy. The manager at the body shop spent a few minutes looking at my trunk and insisted nothing they had done had caused the trunk to no longer work properly. He offered to "spend a little more time looking at it" the following week. Instead, I went to the Lexus dealer and it was discovered that a part had not been put back properly by Sheehy causing the trunk to no longer close properly. Lexus was able to identify the problem and fix it. Sheehy was not- or did not admit their fault in order not to accept responsibility. Either way, this experience should be noted for anyone considering taking their car to the Sheehy collision center. The work they did on my car was timely and excellent but not accepting responsibility for the issue I had (or being able to detect the problem and fix it), will probably have me going elsewhere next time. More

Fantastic First Car Buying Experience I came to Sheehy Ford Lincoln of Richmond to look at a 2011 Ford Escape I had just so happened to find online. I had been looking at this particular m I came to Sheehy Ford Lincoln of Richmond to look at a 2011 Ford Escape I had just so happened to find online. I had been looking at this particular make and model for a while and none came close to the newer year or mileage as the one there. I made a quick phone call to my mom for her approval and she told me to "get my butt down there now!". When I got there I checked out the SUV and it was in great shape. The first person to approach me was Dave Willoughby and he asked if I wanted to test drive it because other prospects were eyeing it as well. At first i was apprehensive then I said "sure!" Well after that test drive I was sold! This SUV was going to be mine. Dave made the process so easy I was amazed at how quickly I was approved for financing and how the whole ordeal went. I was expecting the runaround and them trying to sell me something else. I took the SUV home that same evening! I know this is not how car purchases usually go, but I am so glad that it went smoothly, especially for my first car buying experience. Thanks Dave and the team at Sheehy Ford Lincoln! More

Mike Carson assessed my situation and took me around to see the vehicles that might fit without any pressure to buy. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and answered all my questions. He listened to what I wanted him to know about why I was there and the needs I had concerning a vehicle. When I didn't like a car he told me that he did not want to put me in a car that I was not happy about. When I found the one I wanted he did everything he could to make that happen. I had learned about Mike from a referral and I can see why! More
