All the staff I had contact with were very courteous, knowledgeable and considerate. Shayne explained the problems and let me know what were priorities and what could be done at a later time. My car was done in a timely fashion but once again, the sticker in the upper left hand corner was not changed. ********************* ********************* 2 MARCH 2022 As on several recent SERVICE APPOINTMENTS — the Technicians / Staff “still” cannot / do not read-see-review the inputs/notes I, as the Custom 2022 As on several recent SERVICE APPOINTMENTS — the Technicians / Staff “still” cannot / do not read-see-review the inputs/notes I, as the Customer, include on-line when making/scheduling the appointment. It is RIDICULOUS to outline/specify all the service items I wish to have done — ONLY to have REPEAT / TELL the attending Technician / Staff AGAIN…exactly “what” it is I am there for — what the appointment is for. I actually sat down with Bill (Service Mgr) in his office to discuss this one-on-one several months ago (apparently to no avail). THIS IS FRUSTRATING… and your on-line SERVICE REQUEST page/service is virtually USELESS…if I have to go over the same thing I just sent electronically via YOUR SERVICE REQUEST PAGE… it seems duplicative/repetitive/useless and is an EXTREMELY annoying. There must be some way for the Service Technicians / Staff to be able to SEE what my appointment is for — and then “verify” that nothing else needs to added / changed. SIMPLE. For this particular visit - I had a routine oil service, emissions inspection test and miscellaneous items. The Technician / Staff member said I needed the 100,000 — and later 105,000 mile service as well — NOPE — I have HAD BOTH DONE prior to this visit and since I meticulously keep my own records - am ACTUALLY WELL AHEAD OF THAT SCHEDULE (already done and recorded in YOUR service records). Once I told him this — he was able to SEE that YES indeed I had already had that service done. WHAT ARE THEY LOOKING AT? WHY CAN’T THEY REVIEW THE RECORDS…ACCURATELY???? Had I not known my OWN records — I “could” have had the unnecessary service repeated — THIS HAS TO BE FIXED !!! The OWNER of SHEEHY needs to get involved and RESOLVE this issue - as the Service Mgr is either unwilling or incapable of effecting this change to the benefit of the CUSTOMER. TOTALLY DISSATISFIED. I also had to CALL IN to the Service Dept to see if my vehicle was done/ready for pick up. I dropped it off at about 12:30 pm — and called in just at 5 pm or so — to hear “oh yes - they just finished it up and its ready…” FIVE HOURS for an oil change and the miscellaneous items — that is TOTAL B.S. I’d like to find a way to express this frustration / continuous flaw DIRECTLY to the OWNER at SHEEHY…not just the Service Mgr. ********************* ********************* More
It took nearly 3 and a half HOURS for a 30 minute appointment. When I booked on the phone I was assured they were not overbooked. Straight lie. My appointment was nearly a fluid review, tire and brake inspection, etc. They estimated the longest I would wait was 40 minutes. Mind you I had 4 kids in tow with me ages 11 down to 8 months. I brought minimal items to keep them busy as they estimated it would be a short wait time. 3 hours later I was given my car back. I loaded my kids up, and started my car. The engine light immediately came on and low oil pressure was flashing across my screen. Frustrated is the nice F word to use. I promptly walked back inside and alerted the desk clerk of this issue - as it was not an issue prior to bringing my car in that morning. I was told to go back to my car and wait. I waited ANOTHER 20 minutes in my car- again. Got frustrated because who wouldn’t. I walked back inside to alert the clerk again. This time- they walk out with me. My car never moved because with low oil I was worried about my engine. He checked the oil for my car and gave a very concerning look and went inside and on the phone he went. I had to unload my children again. Go back inside and wait another 45 minutes. The desk clerk told me a censor was not plugged in. After the mess of it all I don’t buy it but my car is still running. I am very upset with this process and the mess. I am unsure if I will ever be back to this location. Ridiculous is an understatement. More
