Service Dept is slipping - one can no longer count on their time estimates for a rout8 e oil change. When I asked a supervisor about the delay, she told me that they were usually 1.5 hours behind and did their time estimates for a rout8 e oil change. Service does decent work but the constant upselling for unnecessary service work while one is receiving ‘free lifetime oil changes’ is getting old. More

All the staff I had contact with were very courteous, knowledgeable and considerate. Shayne explained the problems and let me know what were priorities and what could be done at a later time. ********************* ********************* 2 MARCH 2022 As on several recent SERVICE APPOINTMENTS — the Technicians / Staff “still” cannot / do not read-see-review the inputs/notes I, as the Custom 2022 As on several recent SERVICE APPOINTMENTS — the Technicians / Staff “still” cannot / do not read-see-review the inputs/notes I, as the Customer, include on-line when making/scheduling the appointment. It is RIDICULOUS to outline/specify all the service items I wish to have done — ONLY to have REPEAT / TELL the attending Technician / Staff AGAIN…exactly “what” it is I am there for — what the appointment is for. I actually sat down with Bill (Service Mgr) in his office to discuss this one-on-one several months ago (apparently to no avail). THIS IS FRUSTRATING… and your on-line SERVICE REQUEST page/service is virtually USELESS…if I have to go over the same thing I just sent electronically via YOUR SERVICE REQUEST PAGE… it seems duplicative/repetitive/useless and is an EXTREMELY annoying. There must be some way for the Service Technicians / Staff to be able to SEE what my appointment is for — and then “verify” that nothing else needs to added / changed. SIMPLE. For this particular visit - I had a routine oil service, emissions inspection test and miscellaneous items. The Technician / Staff member said I needed the 100,000 — and later 105,000 mile service as well — NOPE — I have HAD BOTH DONE prior to this visit and since I meticulously keep my own records - am ACTUALLY WELL AHEAD OF THAT SCHEDULE (already done and recorded in YOUR service records). Once I told him this — he was able to SEE that YES indeed I had already had that service done. WHAT ARE THEY LOOKING AT? WHY CAN’T THEY REVIEW THE RECORDS…ACCURATELY???? Had I not known my OWN records — I “could” have had the unnecessary service repeated — THIS HAS TO BE FIXED !!! The OWNER of SHEEHY needs to get involved and RESOLVE this issue - as the Service Mgr is either unwilling or incapable of effecting this change to the benefit of the CUSTOMER. TOTALLY DISSATISFIED. I also had to CALL IN to the Service Dept to see if my vehicle was done/ready for pick up. I dropped it off at about 12:30 pm — and called in just at 5 pm or so — to hear “oh yes - they just finished it up and its ready…” FIVE HOURS for an oil change and the miscellaneous items — that is TOTAL B.S. I’d like to find a way to express this frustration / continuous flaw DIRECTLY to the OWNER at SHEEHY…not just the Service Mgr. ********************* ********************* More
