I recently had a very disappointing experience at Sheehy Toyota of Laurel while attempting to purchase a Toyota Sienna XLE 8-seater. This model is rare, and most dealerships only have the 7-seater version, Toyota of Laurel while attempting to purchase a Toyota Sienna XLE 8-seater. This model is rare, and most dealerships only have the 7-seater version, so I was eager to secure the one I needed at this location. Initially, everything seemed promising. Nick Teye, the salesperson assisting me, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He guided me through various options and helped negotiate the price. Unfortunately, the positive experience ended there. When it came time to close the deal, I was handed over to Jordan Jenkins, whose behavior was utterly unprofessional and upsetting. On June 17th, I started negotiating the price, and I returned on June 21st to finalize the purchase. To my dismay, Jordan added an unexpected $2000 to the agreed price and tried to justify it. When I questioned the extra charge, he became visibly unhappy and defensive. Jordan's attitude was dismissive and disrespectful throughout our interaction. He inaccurately entered my information and the purpose of the vehicle purchase. When I asked him to correct these errors, he became even more agitated, accusing me of being overly demanding. His response to my concerns was, "Trust me, I've done a lot of sales this way, and it should be fine." However, I couldn't just take his word when signing a legal document worth over $50,000. Most of the time I spent in his office, Jordan was preoccupied with phone calls and texting on two phones simultaneously. This not only distracted him but also created a chaotic environment, making it difficult for me to focus. His multitasking was unprofessional and disrespectful. As I was signing the multi-step documents on his table, he grew impatient with the way I read them, insisting I just sign and move on. When I asked him to explain what I was signing, he rudely stated, "It’s all in the email I sent you, there's nothing more to say." After enduring this rough and intimidating experience, he hurriedly handed me the documents on a flash drive and led me outside for additional signatures. He passed some papers to a person in an open cubicle and disappeared back into his office. I was left waiting for Nick to finalize everything. When I sought further clarification, I found Jordan in his office, eating and ignoring me. He locked his door and pretended not to see me until I knocked. His response was painfully rude: "What do you want?" This was the final straw. While I cannot speak for the entire management team at Sheehy Toyota of Laurel, my experience with Jordan Jenkins was extremely disappointing. It was clear there was no review mechanism in place for monitoring how their salespeople handle business. If you have the option, I strongly recommend looking at other Toyota dealers. If you must go to Sheehy Toyota of Laurel, avoid Jordan Jenkins or ensure you have witnesses and thoroughly check the price he quotes you. My experience left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a customer. More

Sheehy Toyota of Laurel is a TERRIBLE dealership. Wasted 3 months of my life waiting on a Highlander, when they had one to sell, they jacked the price up with a $3,000 markup they said I MUST BUY or Wasted 3 months of my life waiting on a Highlander, when they had one to sell, they jacked the price up with a $3,000 markup they said I MUST BUY or they would not sell the car to me, a combat veteran. When I refused to buy the markup up price, they refused to sell. This is a dishonest place, looking for ways to gauge and steal your money. The general manager and sales managers produce a culture of saying anything to rip you off, all I wanted was to buy a new car at a fair price and I could not do that here. More

Be very careful with the Sales rep here and the ability of the service department. They will lie in your face. Don't expect service outside of the oil change and tire rotation in a timely manner. Been mont of the service department. They will lie in your face. Don't expect service outside of the oil change and tire rotation in a timely manner. Been months and still waiting for a small part for a door handle. Get the same run around every call and visit. Sales rep made a promise and lied basically to get me in a car and even with proof of promise apparently Sheehy can’t fulfill. Not a business with integrity, would not recommend. More
This location’s customer service has been an absolute nightmare! They say car buying in your early 20s is swimming with sharks, and I now understand. The way the employees like Deborah, Newton, Shawn, nightmare! They say car buying in your early 20s is swimming with sharks, and I now understand. The way the employees like Deborah, Newton, Shawn, and other managers at Sheehy Toyota of Laurel have communicated with me so condescendingly has been appalling. The title work on my car has been incorrect for over 4 months. I have been reaching out for help in person, through email and many phone calls , and received incorrect tags and titles throughout the process even though our paperwork is correct. Through many turns and phone calls, this location has held my title hostage and not completed their contract for over 5 months of me having the vehicle. When I reached my breaking point, I contacted Toyota’s Headquarters, but quickly was told that this Toyota dealer is independently owned. They have no control other than being a central directory for phone calls. Deborah Cox, in specific, was designated to oversee and communicate with me on behalf of Toyota Sheehy of Laurel. In the end of my interaction today, she told me that she is “not a psychic” after being asked if I could pick up my 5 MONTH LATE TITLE today! She spoke as if I was an inconvenience to her after asking for what other solutions besides returning my property after months and months of waiting they would see appropriate for my situation… I could give countless other examples of asking for managers contact information and never receiving it, or being BULLIED for months by countless employees, and then being told by a Deborah that repetition of these actions “is not bullying”. I rarely leave reviews for any location, but to stay silent and not acknowledge the multiple employees and unprofessional actions committed within my experience for others to hear would be immoral. If you’re looking for a location to buy a car and patronize, I strongly encourage you to consider other Toyota dealers. More
