Just to update my review below…. As of 5.3.22 they have yet to refund me the $7000 in extra warranties and xxxxxxxx that is 100% mine filled out cancellation form back in February. They are probably holding onto the money cause I left them a bad review. Do not buy a vehicle from these people. They told me one price and $5000 down then in finance he raised the monthly payment $300 and raised down.payment to $6500. I even went there day before to get price after they ran my credit and ran out of time and came in few days later and price changed. They also charged my $4000 over what it was listed for on the internet and ripped me off by sneaking in every warranty and extra totally $8000. Charged me an extra 3% on my interest so dealership. These people took such advantage of me and lied several times. I’m a single mom and work very hard. I cancelled those $8000 of extras today less than four months later and I only get back $4500. I can’t afford this truck and went to find out I got so ripped off that all other dealerships offer $20,000 less than what I paid. I put down $6500. I beg you to not purchase a vehicle here. Look at their Yelp reviews. Yelp shows true review and you’ll see what I mean. Watch out. My daughter and I are going to suffer extremely. I’m out $20,000 and will finance that $20,000 on new loan. I had a boyfriend that was suppose to use the truck but he wouldn’t pay on time. Later on 5.3.22 I spoke with Albert. Some how the cancellation forms that I filled out end of February disappeared. It’s May and my $7,000 they owe me hasn’t even begun the process to cancel. Sold the truck. Shottencock decided they need the sales paperwork to process the refund even though you can cancel extra warranties at any time, even if I kept the truck. So basically by them losing my February paperwork, they are going off the mileage and time a month later when I sold the truck, lessening the amount of my warranty refund. The crooks don’t stop here. You can call to speak to the response they give you below, however you won’t get anyone that even tries to make a thing better. As a matter of fact they keep screwing me more. BEWARE. Shottenkirk charged me for repairs that were not necessary. Upon returning to NC My vehicle had the same problems it had when I took it in to Shottenkirk plus a broken fuel pump float that was insta necessary. My NC service rep said all I needed was a TIPM box and everything Shottenkirk did was a waste of time and money. My dealership made the repair and it runs great. Relaying this information to Shottenkirk along with invoices I was told I would receive a full refund. I have dealt with this for over 5 months and still do not have my refund. I call,leave messages and send emails. Shottenkirk will not respond. I will never use or recommend Shottenkik to anyone ever. More
