Juan was the worst salesperson I've ever worked with. Horrible communication, total lack of effort, truck wasn't clean or fueled up when we picked it up. Only one key fob and no keys for the in bed tie-downs or tool box, and nothing was said about this up front. They had removed a bed matte that should have come with the truck, per pictures under the listing. I had to chase the team down to the finance paperwork processed. I had to pay someone cash to stay late to meet the person picking up my vehicle. Overall just a complete lack of effort on Shottenkirk's part. More

I cannot stress enough to run away from this dealership. The way this dealership conducts business is the reason car dealerships have a bad reputation. Please, save yourself the stress and do not purchase a vehicle from them. We purchased a used truck on April 2, 2021. The price the salesman gave us was about $5,000 more than the internet listed price. They claim it is for a “reconditioning fee” and “Shottenkirk Care package”. Needless to say we paid the Internet listed price plus TT&L. However, the truck needed the battery replaced and since the service dept had already closed we agreed to come back the next day, April 3rd, to accept delivery. When the salesman, Aryan R, went in to get our keys we noticed a large dent in the back left side of the cab that we had not seen and the dealership didn’t disclose. We pointed it out to the salesman and he went and talked to the used car manager. The salesman came back and said, “It won’t be a problem. We’ll fix it and make it right. You’ll just have to bring it back because our dent guy is only here on Mondays.” Well, this all seemed easy enough. They were going to make it right. Fast forward to May 17, 2021, after 7 weeks of frustrating back and forth with Aryan R. and Tyler A. I finally took the truck in at 9am to have the dent repaired. At 8pm on May 17th Tyler A. calls to let me know that, “Sorry, the dent guy can’t fix it. The only thing I can offer you is to trade that truck in for something comparable.” Really?! That’s it? That’s all you can offer to “make it right”? I asked 2 different people on 4 separate occasions to speak to the GM and I was told he was “not available” and “we rarely see him”. I will never purchase a vehicle or return for service to Shottenkirk Toyota and I will warn everyone I know in person and via social media to stay away. With the greatest of sincerity please don’t even go to this dealership. They are underhanded and do not fulfill their promises. More
